Do not go for africa and italy instead of france, my campaign is so painfull, lost naples in 1510 to rebels when i almost got the fort and it saved on me, did not get castile (dont have this dlc), went peasant republic, have little income due to not having sevilla and ony 60% home node (20% Genoa even though i have almost all provinces, so im thinking about restarting

Edit: But you want to be at -1 stab when it happens, since the event lowers your stab by 3, and ups it by 1 if you're at 0 or higher, but gives you a free stab if you're at less than 0.
There is a video I think from "The Student", he shows you can delay the sindicat remença by 'returning province' on urgell to release Catalonia before annexing again later

They updated it so you get Castilian missions, or at least like half the tree, and can get forever golden as Aragon as long as you have domination

It prevents you from royal marriages, not from retaining or even getting new PUs.
You can become peasant republic and then get the Castile pu

Sindicat Remença has a mtth of 5 yrs, so I never managed to get Spain and Portugal under a PU before that.
doesn't it require -1 stab to trigger, don't sit at -1 stab until you get the unions
