Absolutely nothing is wrong with brindle dogs. The reason he doesn't like them is because the brindle gene is a dominant black variant. When you get into breeding colors it limits the expression of some of the genes. What people need to keep in mind when it comes to nonstandard colors is that you cannot show these dogs in the show ring. Brindles, Fawns, Creams and Pieds are the only colors allowed

What about purchasing a male frenchie you want to stud? What questions do I ask a breeder to make sure I’m getting the color genetics I want?
