That took me back in the 70s, use to run a 34 Lima, and a Northwest Drag Line, learned fast, broke the cable's 3 time's in a day, bad thing I had to call it in, 4th time he just dropped the reel of cable, said change it yourself, after that no more messing up
skadill The Hydraulic lines are for the hydro-crowd bucket mechanism. Before excavators became fully hydraulic, existing manufacturers tended to evolve their existing inventory rather than going fully hydraulic in one step. The bucket on the machine in the video has a hydraulic cylinder that allows the bucket to crowd, although something was wrong with it and it wasn’t being used when I took the video.
The seals on the swivel joint at the top of the boom failed, and no-one has got round to replacing them. I did the one set and put new hydraulic hoses on the machine, when it first arrived . . . .
@@rustybycyclebragg9258 I’m happy to come back and put it right again - but someone else was responsible for disconnecting the wrist ram and putting the back braces on - not I . . . . It was working as designed when I last ran it. Kind regards, Steve A.
