Agreed. Seth and his team have learned a lot from the lock-down. They've taken those lessons on board, come back fresher, stronger, and funnier. Unlike Stephen Colbert, who has continued with the same old, dry, post-lock-down format; which is nowhere near as funny as his shows were during lock-downs.
A Closer Look was worth watching after work (before the pandemic) and now I watch all of the clips and some of the interviews. The writing and Seth found something that began in his hall, then I believe his garage, then attic, then in-laws... and, as far as I am concerned it went from being quirky and clever to a must-see staple of my day.
To be fair to Rusty, the vaccine hasn't been approved for dogs so it seems entirely appropriate for him to not be vaccinated, however much he may like to be.

Seth got so much better during the quarantine shows. It’s the only late night show that got better and changed. He found his stride, listened to the viewers, became more laid back and less formulaic.
