    So many bands have one band member that stands out. JINJER has 4 MVPs, all geniuses at their trade. They are on a different level.

    Omg I love listening to Eugene speak. English is his second language but he uses it so eloquently. He understands the impact of every word and he takes his time to search for the proper words. His demeanor is so kind and intelligent. So happy to finally have time to watch this interview. I am so impressed with Eugene and of course Jinjer. Thank you!!

    First ever Death jazz band ! LOL I love how open and honest the members of this band are and Eugene is the genius among musical geniuses. Mediator and Copycat couldn't be more different and yet are my favorite songs from the album. Nice interview

    They remind me a lot of Candiria in lots of ways. That aversion to playing to a specific genre. Especially Candiria's earlier albums.

    I know this is a trend that Jinjer would probably not follow, but sometimes I think doing an album with guests musicians/vocalist can be an opportunity to move your sound (while keeping your identity) in directions that would not be possible otherwise. I heard Tatiana said in an interview that she participated in side projects. I think it is also interesting. I'm eager to see what she got involved into and how it turned out. We learn and grow from our experiences, so getting invloved in side projects can only be beneficial and help to gain new tricks/skills.

    Top notch interview as always. The band has leveled up so much in their abilities, so much so that Eugene now thinks the new record isn't that complicated musically. Jinjer is the prime example of what musician's can achieve if they keep pushing and pushing to be greater and greater. Keep being awesome, see you guys in November.

    What Eugene said about this new album makes sense. It's more heavy like King of Everything, and also gives Micro vibes. Macro was harder to follow in my opinion, but grows on you slowly.

    • @APREACTS

      King of Everything alone makes Macro a beast. I also just love their diversity! Killer band.

    • @mcanepa6787
      @mcanepa6787 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Its very interesting how he describes Macro as more mainstream and Nu metal. Not 100 percent sure I agree with it being the most mainstream but it definitely does have nu metal vibes throughout it. I had difficulty getting into it as well, not being huge on songs like Noah, pausing death or (unpopular opinion) Home back. However this new record I am digging every song so far and I think that will only grow from here.

    • @aamiw99
      @aamiw99 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@mcanepa6787 I agree. Macro to me was the hardest to digest, so I was surprised when he said it was more mainstream. I still don't like Noah that much, and I only got into Home Back around when the music video came out. After a few listens, Wallflowers is almost certainly my new favourite Jinjer album.

    I know they didn't want to think about adding another musician to the band because of the constant touring and compatibility but it would be interesting to know what instrument they think would add the most to the music that can't be done now?

    I love eugene.
    His english is really good he should give tatiana a couple of lessons xD
    I am going to learn bass in the future and eugene is the reason for this.
    Vortex and wallflower are up there on my favourite jinjer songs now.
    I am so excited to see them live in two weeks.
    Can't wait...
