Thank you Aisha for amplifying this unfortunate scenario. I am an alumnae of FGGC Ow resident in the US and couldn’t make the trip. The video was disappointing because executives of our Association had earlier met with the governor to inform him of the event but it appears this highhandedness has no limits. Imo is in terrible hands and i hope that this incident will trigger our diaspora to stop the talk and begin to walk the walk.
This is a show of shame on Uzodinma. If only the Imo people would be wise enough to see that if Uzodinma can do this with their money, it shows he has no plan to Imo. The best thing is that they should kick him out, but I wonder if that is possible 😢😢😢
Government of impunity. It's sad our people don't know how to fight lawless government. Well the alumni should at least do something. Take Protea Hotel and State Governor to the cleaners. Just do something.
Please no retreat not surrender, please dot stop talking, and Nigeria will be great in your own time, you will live to eat all this good things you're doing and God will never leave you alone
This is how Nigeria will be if something is not done for these heartless politicians who are after their personal interest in Nigeria to stop this nonsense happening in Nigeria. What else again will happen before Nigerians wake up from their slumber? The politicians have seen that Nigerians will only shout and write ✍️ on the Internet and keep quiet. Because of this, they have taken Nigerians for granted.
This misfortune is very straight forward and no technicality can undermine it. Present all corresponding and supporting evidences to solidify your case. The hoteliers and management should have reverted back to initial bookers (FGGC old student) of sudden change of plan outside their control so they resort to plan B or reschedule the homecoming. The Hotel Manager is highly liable for the mishap and should be made to pay damages or compensations. I would imagine the gruesome treatment and inconveniences in addition to their unsafety. When we are making bookings, a down payment is required and if no show hotels will surcharge you 10% or 20% depending on terms and conditions so they've defiled that term of agreement and are highly liable for compensation period. We have to start devicing deterrent approaches to correct these usurpation of power. ✌
The govt of Imo state has gone over board this time....haba😮 Let the management of that hotel prepare a good compensation package for these women. This is totally unacceptable Thank you Aisha for spotlighting this malaise

Lawless republic called Nigeria. The supreme court will find a technical way to defend their governor. With Nigeria it's zero step forward and all steps continually backwards.

The supreme Court already found many ways to delay the hearing of the people challenging Hope Uzodimma's reign that is the problem. he was sworn in and there was three year delay between when he was sworn in and to when they were going to hear the challengers so 3 years into a term That's when you're going to rule as to whether or not it what he did was constitutional or whether he was qualified or whether he broke rules to run in his election? Na waoh That's just shows you how unserious they are and if we were a country of people who weren't stupidly divided even amongst the Igbos we're so divided then we would have already kicked out this mischief maker since!!

Very painful experience. They should sue the hotels. This is unacceptable.😳

These hotel owners better not risk dealing with a criminal government. They are still owing Innoson motors 2 billion Naira.
