Great haul! I'm sure I would have purchased some of those items since they were in new condition. But I don't usually buy many train related items because I don't know enough about them. I LOVE that you straightened up the table for them and that you always put your cart back. That is a HUGE pet peeve of mine. I constantly remind my kids to always put the shopping cart back. It's so nice to know there are still some considerate people in the world! Good luck selling the rest of your items!

I’ve only really just started watching TH-cam channels all users on flipping a garage sales etc and what I love about you is you do a commentary so it’s not boring. A couple of others so make great profits but just watching them shop is really quiet. So the commentary that you give over the top, is actually really engaging and I just want to say thank you because it is keeping me really engaged. One that I was also engaged with was a couple and they were really funny. But someone on their own generally not talking I lose interest. The only thing I do request is when you put a thing up in writing, it’s really Difficult to read because it goes so quickly. I have to rewind and pause. Which is okay but just something I have noticed after watching a few different flipping people. But keep up the good work. You’re really engaging me and I am enjoying watching you and loving the commentary

So when I saw how much you spent on the second day, I nearly choked on my coffee as it’s like 10 times what I spend normally. I think the most I’ve ever spent in one transaction was about 50 or $60. And it’s usually all stuff for me, And I have to justify it to husband by saying I’ve got you this. (a token thing. Lol). But I am thinking about getting into flipping. I’ve just gotta convince husband to go to garage sales. But yeah I nearly had a bit of a “what that” moment when you spent $374, and then realise the day before you spent loads and it wasn’t even a half price, but given how much you made it was worth every single cent. When it comes to ebay fees, just make it part of the math before you purchase something. As long as the item has good sell through and the end result net profit is acceptable to you, you'll know it's ok to buy sort of thing. Thanks so much for watching!

Typically, I do free shipping for the algorithm boost and increased sell through. I bake the shipping costs into my price. A 20 dollar item plus 10 ship comes 29.99 for example. There are pros and cons to this approach.
Most of the time I would recommend giving a store at least a couple hours to start putting stuff on the floor. I do go to valley when the open on 25% off day though.

In that situation they had turned down a pretty sizable buy it all offer previously and it made more sense to leverage their half off day.

Long time fan of your channel. What’s the best way to check for dry rot on those Skechers?
A lot of the time it will be visible on the squishy sides. You can also press in and see if it looks and feels off.

What do you call the app that you check the UPC labels on ?
We use the ebay app. You can scan barcodes, search by taking pics, or type in the search and filter by sold listings.
Do you have dedicated space for storage? Obviously you want a quick flip but sometimes you can hold onto a product to long
We have several areas of our house dedicated and a storage unit. We use the custom sku system on ebay with marked bins to keep track of it all.
Do you give all or a portion of the proceeds to the Salvation Army? That seems like the right thing to do.
