Boight these when they came out last year, but just wore them for the first time last week. I've been following sneakers and sneaker culture on and off for the past 8 years, yet these are my first pair of 1's and man do I love em. Respects for everything you've done Nightwing!
Not only do y'all do the best and most entertaining reviews, but I also have another reason to sing your praises. In some previous episode, Chris mentioned that I should try making a grilled cheese sandwich with mayo instead of butter. Well I just now tried it and...man-oh-man. It was glorious.

These are a must for the collection. I’m also from Boston and been a Celts fan my whole life. My father was always getting us tickets to games so we saw a lot of Celts and Bruins games back in the day. Got to see Larry play a ton of games back then. Only met him once though.

You ain’t lying about tying your shoes and getting back in the game back in the day. Whenever I sprained my ankle, I tied my shoes hella tight, “walked it off” by circling the gym a few times and tried to get in the next game. Thankfully, most times the homies told me to sit me limpy ass down.
7:38 Well, these are my first pair of Jordan 1’s. I got them as a graduation present for myself and I’m gonna wear them when I walk. Really glad I did, I love the way the look. Great review as always.

Thoze DMP packs sat hard. I was working at finishline at the time and they went on sale. After my employee discount I got them for $119. I regret selling both pairs years ago. But these look like much better quality.

I remember the first pair of Jordans I bought with my own money was that Black/Red & Green/Black pack from the Primm Outlets for $190. My brother and I shared sneakers so I got the Black/Red and he got the Green/Black pair.
I think I still have both sneakers somewhere and I still wear the Black/Red kicks whenever I find them (even though my shoe size has gotten bigger since then).

Hey Chris when a joint stretches, but doesn't pop all the way out, only partially, it's called a subluxation (rather than dislocation) #themoreyouknow
I think a colourway where the white panels were grey would look amazing (and I don't even like green shoes)
Sort of. A subluxation is a partial dislocation of the joint from the labrum, causing a partial tear but also causes the joint to partially dislocate then go back in itself. A full dislocation is a complete displacement of the joint from the labrum ie a shoulder dislocation is a completely dislocation of the glenoid from the labrum, depending on the severity of the tear requires surgery. A full dislocation needs to be reduced by a clinician or provider to place back into its correct anatomical position

Saw the Sunday afternoon 63 game! And they still lost to the Celtics... Avia crosstrainers did the same thing "stuck like glue" while dismounting a bike over the saddle technique, but it was a knee.
These are so fire 🔥 this is my favorite color blocking for the Air Jordan 1, this green is really nice too. Still, I think I’d only grab the OG black toe or a blue pair in this blocking

Jordan 1's should never have a Jumpman on the back. Glad they took it off on this pair
This colorway is a nod to the 63 point pair(different shade of green), but not intended to be a retro of it. You have to remember jordan brand had a time when jordan 1 mids were king and they were getting away from the Nike imprint hence the jumpman branding. Let’s just appreciate these for what they are.
Nice, I just ordered it. Will also be my first snikers since I was a child. I've only worn Chuck's since I was 12. The Jordans will be my first real Snikers. I also bought the black/green Celtics jersey. 😅 Funny if you know the story...
I am somewhat on the edge about them. They look nice, but since i got the 85 🐼 (which were my first pair of AJ1s) in hand, many AJ1s just dont look that nice anymore.
The OG highs feel way nicer on feet compared to the high 85s, gotta have a daily driver pair of high 1s right?

Copped these for 100 and wore them for a long while I loved them! Very underrated but a little disappointed that the swoosh isn’t the same, I’m not talking about size , material wise. The og or 09 rather has a nubuck swoosh similar to the ‘01 retro 1 line
