this brings tears to me....my late uncle literally forced us to jive to Chopper's songs when we were growing up and till today is what we do. its like a culture to us here in the northern part of Namibia. Chopper may be gone but his legacy lives on within us over here...RIP Legend! OneLove ~Namibia
Very much touching indeed. There are times when letting go is the best decision you can make rather than continuing to hold on to something and you end up losing everything. I for one, quitting is never part of my DNA but l when l listened to this song l realized sometimes wisdom demands that you quit and open a fresh page in life otherwise you become a victim of egotistical convictions
The story of my life in 2021, circumstances forced me to resign from work in a tearful manner, i had to surrender office keys, surrender Nissan Hardbody keys, and coming to a point wre they wld be no more salaries, when i could no longer stand the heat, little did i knw i was fast approaching a positive turning point of my life. If i had somehow decided to stand that heat i couldnt be wr i am today. These are necessary life lessons that everyone ought to go through. And i have completely forgiven the individuals who were the catalyst to that heat which made my life miserable up to the extent of resigning
This song would make those who followed this musician cry .When it was clear and inevitable that jail life was approaching for this man,he thought of dropping this gem to his fans and foes.A clearly composed piece confirming the fact that he was overwhelmed by the criminal accusations and facing uncertainty in this jail life. One of his best and well composed

This song reminds of good old days , used to be played in Tombs bus going to the rural areas for holidays with my late gogo, all the way from kwekwe to Chirasauta ..now I’m playing this in M 4 UK but feels like I’m still in Zim
When I listen to Chimbetu l am reminded of the good old days with my friend Ashworth Boyina whose brother was friend of Chopper. We used to play his music back in the 90's
What a beautiful composition. The rhythm conquering to the unyielding emotion caught in the dilemna of whether to dance or cry and you end up doing both. Deadly arrangement
Take nothing from one of my all-time Bassist Moffat Nyamupandu, or from the piercing lead guitarist 🎸 all complementing each other so magnificently: rhythm guitarist understood the assignment, made the sound so very emotional, the best for me and is what I want to hear each time I come to listen to this song
This song it pain me after l built my 4 room from 2019 up to may 2020. My uncles chased me with my mother and my wife.now l have no home staying in vic falls. I was the first person to built permant structure
The whole album he was complaining. I think this is from Karikoga done in the 90s. Other songs are Judas, Hope Iyi, Mandivarira, Ndafunga Kure (mbudzi yabe nyama imbwa iripo lyrics).
Judas is on Zuva Raenda Album, Hope iyi is on the Album Pachipamwe...Karikoga pana Rudo rwechokwadi, Makorokoto, Munda wekurima, Gona rehuroyi, mandivavarira etc
The emotions in this song is so pulpable. Chopper sang from the heart. Its a sad song yet its foot tapping. What a talent he was.

Sometimes to quit =courage × wisdom.

He played the rythym guitar himself on this song hence that melodic flow
