You get what you pay for. We've tried these braces for CCL and wasted a lot of money. We finally decided to go with a QUALITY CUSTOM brace. Pricey but SO WORTH IT

@@savache27 sure. I ordered from Posh dog knee brace. It's kind of like a bionic brace. Custom fitted. Very expensive but known to completely heal the ACL/CCL. I paid $950

@@savache27 no. We just purchased it a couple days ago. We have an appt with them on Monday via Skype, to do the measurements. After that we send the signed customer agreement. It takes a few days for them to make it, and a couple days to send it. When we receive it we will do the fitting via Skype. Their customer service is outstanding! Wish you all the best for your precious pup!

Balto is the worst. I spent $125 on a brace. It worked, but it wore out in less than a year. The brace uses velcro which wears out. The fabric around the knee has stretched. When I contacted Balto they refused to stand behind their product because I bought it online through a 3rd party - A VET!!!! All I asked is that they replace the worn part of the brace. The metal parts that keep the brace rigid did not need to be replaced. But Balto USA refused to offer and assistance. So my poor dog struggles as his knee did not heal and he is very old. But the point here is Balto charged over $100 for an Extra Small brace that is intended to be used everyday and then refused to stand behind their product when it failed. DON'T BUY BALTO

My dog has a luxating patella so I bought her one of these velcro braces. I put it on her & 5 seconds later, she just ripped it off with her teeth.

None of these are good for your dog! They can make the injury worse & also cause an injury to their other leg! They say to always get a custom brace & that it’s best to get one made for each leg since if it’s a torn ligament, they’ll likely injure the other leg within 2 years of the first injury!

I found a place where a custom set of braces will cost about $1,500 which is a lot cheaper than $4.500 for surgery!
