Striker has a fine snake eye matchup because of shark cannon, anchor, thrust and their grind game As the other person said tier 2 or lower decks are a bigger problem currently as they contain strong untargetable monsters or unbreakable boards, the latter is an issue if you're playing less hand traps But playing less hand traps and more board breakers is good against snake eye, so it puts striker in a weird spot
Realistically any local deck profile should be taken with a grain of salt haha. That being said, Qi is a very good player and our locals is mostly branded and voiceless. The hero player he spoke of in the video also finished top 8 at Niagara regionals so no slouch either
@@HakunaMyData but hero at least have end board(plasma, dpd, dark law) and can win ez if they make it to there. Sky striker have only 3 imperms at best plus ht in hand. U see the point.
Whats the reasoning for two Multirole? I find that having immediate answers to my opponent via hand traps or board breakers serve me well so maybe I'm missing something in investing into a card that prolongs the game?
I would personally recommend playing at least 2 triple Tactical Talents instead. You can play Talents at 3 if you want but I personally like it at 2 because it gives you a little more room to change your ratios as needed.
I understand playing handtraps, but IMO this deck cannot afford getting Talents-ed under any circumstances since every card/breaker is mission-critical once your turn rolls around. I go for a full breaker setup with silver bullet handtraps in the side for matchups I dont feel comfortable going into with breakers alone
@@reservationatdorsias3215 99/100 of people will not make you do that. Other than facing another hard going 2nd deck (which is fairly uncommon nowadays), only time that'll happen is if you're in a small locals with friends where everyone knows what you're on.
I think it's important to ask what their matchups were. Going undefeated vs rogue/casual decks vs meta/some rogue makes a big difference
Deck has problem against voicless,lab,branded
