I bought an Interceptor as my first bike and i agree with everything you say, especially about the wobble when you go over tar lines and I also think a tyre change would fix it, but haven’t done it yet. About the brakes, though, I think there may have been a problem with yours - I have done a few rapid rapid stops from 80 mph to say 30-40 mph on the motorway and felt like more than enough, and seemed the brakes had more to give too. It takes a bit of a pull on the lever, but I never thought they were dangerous and I am by no means a better rider than you with my nine months of weekend riding. xd Thought this would be a useful perspective for someone looking to purchase a bike on that platform, because hearing “dangerous” about the brakes would have put me off personally and I’d say it’s good enough for sub-100 mph stops.
Hey, thanks for adding your experience. I totally agree with you, brakes are okay. I should have been specific, coming to a slow speed from fast isnt a problem, stopping quickly it is. If there is a car that comes infront of you and brakes immediately, the stopping distance is longer than expected on a motorcycle. Its the progressive braking that almost feels like the brakes fade because of heat building up rather fast due to weight of the bike. Another rotor would definitely solve this issue in my opinion. Just need more braking surface area to stop quickly
@@motolax3091 I agree with Alexander, seems like you have some sort of problem with your brakes. Sudden stop in high speed is always happening in my country and i dont have any issues. Since it is a used bike, you should have checked the ABS first and the calipers.
