- Hello everyone and welcome to the fifth and FINAL event of the Marble League Winter Special: Ice Hockey! This is a special tournament, a gift from us to our fans to show our appreciation and give something back for all your support. NOTE:
Regarding on the number of periods: We know that in real ice hockey 3 periods are played per match. However we decided to use 2 periods because:
1. The video will be too long using 3 periods.
2. It's more fair for marbles to start one time on the left and one time on the right.

I'm not a Oceanics fan, but congrats to them. And hats off to the their fans. The fans who stayed loyal to them for years, despite the less-than-successful seasons. That's a true fan right there. I really admire their loyalty and I'm glad to see that loyalty has paid off.

I will never be able to put into words how I felt when the O'Rangers came third. How long have I waited through hardship and pain to see my Oceanics win a title. I'm not crying over marbles, it's just snow melting :')

I loved that the orangers became third, finally a double O podium. I'm a fan of both since my first marble video 5 years ago so I really appreciate that the oceanics are on top and the orangers runner up
Oh, the Snowballs are potentially melting and in turn evaporating out of pure fury - depending on how well they're dealing with being on the bottom of the overall stands... XD
The magnet for the goalies, what an idea!
Yes, but in the final match it seems one of them was not working properly as two marble screamed past the goalie.
I like it. Though I think they might need slightly stronger magnets. Because a lot of the "pucks" went slowly rolling right past. They don't seem to have enough "catch" range. I think making them slightly bigger would make it a bit more interesting. You'd also likely have times where the puck curves some but still makes it in. Which would make for those "almost a save" moments.

Most of the pucks come from the sideline so I think the goalies should stand right on the line. They might catch some more pucks then.

After what was an atrocious start to the league, the Orangers being able to finish as runner-ups is an amazing achievement. They pulled some magic tricks in the final 3 events, was great to see!

As an actual Hockey Fan, I wasn't sure how this was going to work, but it was brilliant!! -- First off, can we all (once again) appreciate how wonderful of a Mad Genius Jelle and his team are- he had to have tinkered on several stages to get this going- the marble release, the rink, the angles, the pucks, and then the magnetic "goalie" system as well - once that was done, the bracket system, the OT/Goals Made/Goal Differential scoring system, the authentic Hockey Organ Music- ONLY thing missing was a Marble driving a Mini Zamboni !! Really Well Done !!

Im so happy for the oceanics. Ive been a long time orangers fan, but this just put a huge smile on my face. Not only did we get second, but only two years after hosting their own marble league, and being the worst, they won their own marble league. Good job oceanics.

Oh how I love our O’friendly O’rivalry.
Raspberry Racers and Limers are complete opposites in colour ( red and green) and go to war with each other. Both we’re strong , now both struggle.
O’rangers and Oceanics are complete opposites in colour ( blue and orange) and support and encourage each other. One was strong and now both are.
Let it be a lesson not only to all marbles but also to all humans that the world can be a better a place if we can love instead of hating each other based on our colour

@@JBTH2010 I quite enjoy the rivalry we have with the SS. We were the ones battling for overall 1st last Marble League and then we both struggled beginning of this Marble League season. That's a good back forth too.
I am a lifelong Green Ducks fan, and while it is sometimes heartbreaking to see them come so close and fail, I never stop quacking. Last Marble League and again in this tournament, they are the highest ranked team to never place on the podium! Stay strong, duckies!

I've always been behind Oceanics and Thunderbolts, so seeing the back-to-back medals from them this year was something special. Finally, after all these years, the Oceanics are no longer considered a joke team.
My boys the raspberry racers put in a good innings in the end, was worried we'd slumped this season

Love the head-to-head wins over classic rivals Orangers and Speeders to finish the season in style. That's all we could ask for.

I was personally surprised at how good the Speeders were at Hockey. Thought they were mostly only good for sprints, but they were shockingly good at this event.

As an O'rangers fan, I thought we would experience the hangover of our choke job this past summer. For the first three events and Marbula 1 had me believing the narrative. However the Bobsled brought us back and the bronze in hockey just left us short of gold but much better than I expected. Congratulations to Oceanic.

I was the same. Interestingly, with the final standings, the Oceanics would have won overall, even if they had come last in this event. Just shows how well they did in the events prior.

Wow! I wouldn't have thought hockey was our strength, but here we are! Kudos to the raspberry racers for some excellent play! Rocketed up to fourth overall, just a point shy of the podium, hopefully this is a sign they're getting their act back together. Also congrats to the oceanics! And awesome organ work! Totally made me feel like being home in an arena :D
