For this game, and among of all Touhou OSTs, Remilia's Theme will be always one of my favorites. Not only because the absolute bangers of doujin music (specially metal) that comes from this, but because I can listen to the original and never get tired of it
Remilia's theme is so powerful, and rightfully peak, that it's a big reason to why she's my favorite touhou character. Odd putting the stage 3 theme in C tier though :p
I really love the Extra Stage theme, the beautiful piano at the start and the overall feel of the song is very nice. You also gotta love Sakuya’s theme, it’s so iconic and made very well!
Back when i first met Touhou with EOSD i could not stop listening to Sakuya's theme and to this day is one of the first songs that spawns in my head when i think of Touhou OSTs. Can't wait for more of these tier lists, really wanna hear your insight and output on the other games after this vid.
Honestly Stage 4 of EoSD is my fav stage theme in all touhou and i would definitely put in PEAK tier. Something about it is just so catchy, and i especially love IaMP remix of it

I was gonna make my own comment ranking these, but I'm way too tired to do that My personal favorite EoSD OST is The Maid and the Pocket Watch of Blood, for three reasons: 1. Sakuya is my favorite character 2. It was one of ZUN's few pieces that captured the mood, the battlefield, and foreshadowed the personality of the upcoming boss, not even mentioning that it was composed in a way almost as divine as Sakuya herself (EoSD Sakuya is beautiful by the way if you didn't already know that) 3. When I first became a Touhou fan and was still really struggling to learn about the series, being overwhelmed by every game and its contents in general, I underwent a massive amount of dopamine when I first saw Maid of the Scarlet Devil Mansion Sakuya Izayoi shift into the screen
Title theme isn't the mona lisa? I dunno, I really love Eastern Night from Imperishable Night, myself. Hope to see... hear(?) more song lists in the future!

When you do the pc98 games use the akyu's untouched score versions of osts because there are no hardware rips I can find and many emulated ones aren't very game

Patchouli’s theme being the bottom of C tier in this list is just straight up illegal. I may be biased since Patchouli at one point was my favorite Touhou char, but her theme is definitely not C tier, if I allow myself to be unbiased I’d set it next to the stage 4 theme since they go hand in hand IMO, my only other nitpick is Luna dial, I’d say it’s above Cirno’s theme. Other than that I can’t really argue with much else. So besides a few nitpicks, nice tier list.

Meiling's theme was what got me into Touhou music, and now Touhou music plays in a constant loop in my head
