For 30 yrs I quilled freehand using only a darning needle, ground off at the eye, as a Quilling tool.I have just been given my first Quilling tool kit with combs, crimper etc. You have challenged me to invent my own flowers, leaves, Art, etc. Every day something new! My designs will most certainly contain Australian Wildflowers! Thank you from an Australian 86 year old !

also how do you end up using the individual flowers you made on some days. You made a bunch of really beautiful ones and I'm wondering what you end up doing with them. Do you use them on cards or make something else with them?
Thank you so much for the kind words, Lisa! It means a lot! 💛 In regards to your question, most of the cards I have sold, some of the individual flowers/leaves I've added to other projects. And some flowers I have kept for myself (the ones for which I used 3mm paper strips), to hopefully make a bigger collection of unique flowers :).

This has been one of my absolute favorite quilling videos and given me so much hope for incorporating more quilling in my life. I've always felt like I had to do big elaborate projects, but these are so wonderful and something I can do in my busy life of 3 kids and working 25 hours a week! I don't want to abandon my crafting but I've had a hard time fitting it in, especially when I pick projects that take forever. And some of the projects you did would be so wonderful to do with my kids! Thank you!!

Yeah🤸🏼♀️you did it. My favorites 9- 18 & 27. I liked your thinking process as you went through the up and down days. I too am a quilling and paper fusion artist. I have found cards to be a great way to share care to others during the pandemic and people cherish them as I try to personalize them in some way. Inevitably I notice them framed in the background of Zoom meetings and FaceTime calls so feel they are appreciated. Paper therapy is great fun. I love your creative process. Thanks for sharing. It was truly enjoyable to watch your 30 day challenge. It has encouraged me to try quilling again. The "love" quill was my favorite, then the flowers that were put on hand held stems looked so realistic, those were my next favorite. please do how to on those. Thank you.

Thank you very much, Wendy! 😊 Oh, I can imagine it must be overwhelming at first seeing the endless things you can do with paper quilling and not knowing where to start 😃🙈. I would say, just start with something simple at first, maybe a card or something like that, that is how I started :). I actually didn't have all these quilling tools at first. As the years went by, I bought them one by one 😊, to try my hand at new quilling methods.
@@MiriamsQuilling thank you Miriam, I have just been doing simple things and have begun to see a path way to eventually doing more intricate items. I’m about to start working on a butterfly, my bigger issue is finding to places to source the paper strips and other implements here in Orange NSW Aus.

I'd love to see in-depth videos. Decades ago a friend made me a quilling gift of a frog and I've been fascinated with the art.

Thank you very much, Wendy! 😊 Oh, I can imagine it must be overwhelming at first seeing the endless things you can do with paper quilling and not knowing where to start 😃🙈. I would say, just start with something simple at first, maybe a card or something like that, that is how I started :). I actually didn't have all these quilling tools at first. As the years went by, I bought them one by one 😊, to try my hand at new quilling methods.
@@MiriamsQuilling thank you Miriam, I have just been doing simple things and have begun to see a path way to eventually doing more intricate items. I’m about to start working on a butterfly, my bigger issue is finding to places to source the paper strips and other implements here in Orange NSW Aus.

Hope you have a great time making the butterfly, I can remember when I first tried that, interesting to do that! :) Also, regarding where you can find paper strips, if you check the description of most of my videos, you will find links to online shops where you can find paper strips. I hope that helps! :)
