The Only Vertical Needle Driver That Allows Sutures To Be Applied Vertically

Alshemari Needle Driver was designed by Dr Hasan Alshemari which allows the surgeon to apply sutures vertically, in areas that would be difficult to reach with traditional drivers & therefore enabling less invasive procedures particularly in areas such as a nasal cavity or in difficult to reach abdominal procedures. The needle is clamped in a position to function while the operator's hand is in a neutral and comfortable position.
The needle automatically moves into an ideal position between two target points in a straight vertical rather than elliptical motion as in conventional needle drivers.

These surgeons were surveyed following a 6-month perception analysis conducted in 2017 that studied a variety of cardiothoracic surgeons, gynaecological surgeons, otolaryngology surgeons, and general surgeons across 10 different states in the U.S as they incorporated the use of the Alshemari needle driver in their routine surgeries.
