I almost always use Fortress Ballista, because I seriously hate losing Squirt's necklace. I plan to run this, this season because the Paragon cap makes pushing almost not even worth doing - instead I'm going to look for primals and make the perfect GoD DH. :)
I started this season yesterday, and followed this guide, i am already destroying T75+ GR's 😊 Thank you 🙂 I was also carried to paragon 400 where i got everything that i need for the build, except guardians.
I’ve been pretty faithful to D3 the last few years because the seasons have been fun. But I’m having a hard time going back after the QoL we got with the altar. I know it’s how I played for years but it was so nice to have what we got. Plus for me this season theme is extremely bland. It feels like it would be a short season anyway with no power creep and a paragon cap. I just hope we get 30 before the end of the year.
My first time playing D3 was s28, and I was spoiled. Also, have to learn to deal with all those control effects especially since hardcore one mistake can be very punishing
I can't decide on which one is better; I've got Primal Calamity and Ancient Valla's Bequest.Currently using Calamity but don't know which will impact the speed of finishing GRs.And also as for the gem, which one would you recommend to use;Zei or Bane of the Trapped?
I see a lot of people rejecting this season because of the absence of the QoL features from the previous one, i know everyone can have diferent opinions but, to me, those people sound something like: "i drove a rented sportscar once, so now that the ride is over i wont ride any other car ever until i get that sportscar again" ( which makes no sense to me btw)
I am using this build T 75 now and climbing easy, but is there any way to slow it down.. I go so fast can't see where I am going, can't see what I am killing, have to double back to pick up globes, run into traps or self kill myself by running into obstacles I can't see.. lol it is so fun to play -- Thank you
Well, you still want to press your generator every 4-5 seconds to maintain Focus/Restraint, so this change doesn't really do anything for GoD other than that you never go below 20 stacks.

One thing to consider is just how much more impactful high level augment gems will be compared to the lv 125 gems you get from echoing nightmares. Due to having a lot less mainstat, every augment level has much more value than it would at higher paragon.

I will repeat myself: all fun, until u need 2 Grab stuff from the ground in t16 and season theme. This Breaks Ur combo and this build is literally unplayable.
You need to grab stuff from the ground when enemies are dead, so what's the problem of continuing the combo on an empty screen? Every build needs to stop DPSing to pickup stuff.

I played d3 since 2012. Over 11k hours. Streamers ofc have even more hours, and this game is still fun despite repetitive and limited amount of content

Difference this season is you can actually go for ranks, if you like that it can be a long season

Damn, I've always hated GoD DH because of how often you had to refresh the momentum, it's great that they made it twice as long
You could use macro to auto refresh momentum, but it's now more simplified 👍

I miss a Bolas variation, with Emimei's Duffel and Leonine Bow of Hashir, as a complement to the Dawn.
I use Bolas for t16, very fun and it gives a different feel to the build
sadly witout the altar is not worth playing anyway. D3 with altar was at his peak and it will never get there without that qol.
The altar is permanent from Season 30 onward..
