Hello. I have a 2005 model, and mine has a "alternator". It's a coil oposit to the spark plug coil. And that's properly what's causing all that rattle because they tend to get lose.
You can fix that rattle quite simply by squashing the rivets a bit, they're fat aluminium ones with quite a bit of meat on them but left to rattle they will wear through.
Another great video well produced Mick and i believe your signature hamburger is presently scheduled for release in mid March. Will keep you posted mate!
Hey Mick, currently restoring a skip find Hayter 56 340L and hitting a couple of obstacles. I cant find a throttle cable anywhere any advice. The second is if it was fitted with an OPC lever ? Hayter sent me some photos and a manual but they all have different engines so hard to say if it did have one fitted originally.
@@themowerman cheers mate I will do. Got a Hayter 48 Pro too from a similar source but no grass catcher. Runs lovely now though after watching videos like yours. Also restored a weird SABO 2 Stroke Turbo that i must admit cuts lovely. I'll go grab some photo's.
Here is my channel wish list if you would like to show some support in purchasing some tools or spare parts, it is gratefully appreciated www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/13BO7QKGAZZV2/ref=nav_wishlist_lists_2?_encoding=UTF8&type=wishlist

Happy as Larry . They do have a small charging unit but not under the flywheel.
Great job - Have you any diagrams for how all the governor springs are connected on this mowers carb?
This might help www.small-engines.com/bsgovernors
