I love your commentary on Vegas' psyche but personally I believe that both Vegas and Pete are products of their environment. They both are abused by their parents at a young age but their difference is that Pete has his Gradma which showered him love and affection while Vegas didn't have that cause her mother died at a young age, he was left alone and on top of that bear the responsibility protecting his brother. I love how the writer gave the two similarities and differences.
Also what I gathered from book translations is that Vegas father literally pimped him out which may also lead to him being aroused by 1violence
Being still engrossed into the plot, it's horrible how Vegas treated Pete during those scenes. However, looking back months after it ended, idk how Bible didn't bust out laughing when he was petting Build and calling him a good boy like he was a puppy. 😂😂😂
Girl I need to see your reaction to ep12. I think Vegas is the way he is because of his total environment. His dad is a horrible, his environment is toxic and between Pete and Vegas from what I have observed they need each other, they each have something that calls to the other how that is going to play out for Pete and Vegas later I am not sure
Hi! First time commenting here haha.
I think the level of psycopathy in Vegas is high, but it's not on a brain level that you are born with it. What I mean is that psycopathy is a disorder and there is absolutely no empathy, sadness or guilt in a psycopath's mind, and as you must know, in the media they always choose to portray psycopaths in a sterotypical way.
Now, about Vegas I think his psycopathy was nurtured, he does feel sadness, pain and other emotions, but has always lived in that type of environment where he has to be strong, tough, smarter than Kinn and always live under his father's inferiority complex which doesn't help much.
So I'm not jutifying any of his actions, I wouldn't dare, but It is understandable why he acts the way he does, and in the end it's the lack of love he's been deprived his whole life what in some aspects has made him the way he is, not totally but at least partially, I'm sure.
It's incredible what a little bit of afection can do.
On another note, I really like your inputs at the end of every reaction, you take your time and it feels like we are exchanging opinions hahahahaha. 💜🌺

The "nurture" form of psychopathy is called sociopathy, which is what I thought Vegas developing. Unlike psychopathy which is a matter of brain and neuron difference, sociopathy was formed through life experience and trauma. And unlike psychopathy who tended to be calmer and more composed in any circumstances due to inability to feel empathy and guilt, sociopathy is more erratic, in which a person could be calm and cold one time, then became violent and lashing out the next time. Both could be charming, but sociopathy tended to have violent outburst due to trauma triggering, and even when both signified with lack of empathy, unlike psychopaths, sociopath could still feel guilt that was laced with anger due to inability to process emotions.

Oh. And Build is a leftie. In episode 12 during their scene( I won't spoil which cos she has probably not seen it yet, but you know, their scene together, where Pete grabbed Vegas about to leave the room, then the rest is history LoL) I noticed Bible's not awkward with the head placement wether left or right during 'that scene' while Build's head naturally leans toward the left but trying to counter his natural instinct and consciously makes the effort to tilt his head to the right. I could be wrong or....

A S2 focusing on VegasPete? I have heard rumors abt S2 but not VegasPete S2 XD I know there's a 2nd KinnPorsche book, spoiler, book1 made from S1 ends on a cliffhanger which picks up in book2 which will be S2, but book2 is focusing on KinnPorsche too. I do know that Daemi is writing a VegasPete book rn I believe?? It's not yet finished. I'm hoping for an officiall confirmation of S2 coming soon!!!!

I... I guess I'm conflicted with the VegasPete storyline. Is a constant fight between reason and instinct in a way. You know that he is bad is a psychopath capable of doing so much and at the same time seeing him hurt kind of trigger something on Pete's caring nature.
It was kind of the same with Tawan, the fact that you see this humanity on them doesn't make them less of a villain but it creates a weird odd feeling that maybe just maybe they are capable of love.
Also, Vegas kind of grasping that "concern" that Pete manage to transmit is both concerning and sad at the same time. What in the Stockholm syndrome.
I totally agreed with you in the roller-coaster aspect, I've been so exhausted lately because of all the emotions on the last episodes.
