Very good and informative. How to keep sim card active if we can not visit India for more than one year? We can not give Sim card to friend or relative they may misuse it?
U can recharge it for one year roaming plan. Example in Airtel 2999INR for one year international roaming plan.
Thanks a lot for the information. For all such details, your channel is a stop shop for me.
Best wishes!
My PAN has been cancelled as I am Australia Citizens. All my investments are stuck as I can't get my money out.
I have emailed tax department 10 times to change my tax status to NRI but no luck from them.
There is a process to be followed. They won't respond to mails. Your PAN would have become inoperative and not cancelled. This can be made operative by doing certain compliance. It takes some time but not difficult
@@sagarsoman there is no information about it.
I would like to know if this comes with a deadline. I mean is there a timeline within which we have to update the KYC if our KYC status is showing "KYC registered" Instead of "KYC validated"
Even if we have aadhar and a valid working Indian mobile number with it, camsonline KRA website don't allow NRI status investors to update KYC using their website. Resident investors can update the KYC in their site easily. Once you enter the PAN number, and if PAN belongs to NRI, they display that this PAN is not eligible for online kyc update.
Please reply as I can't find a answer to it anywhere
My KYC update is done based on non-aadhar as I became a OCI holder now. I also have my old Aadhar which I can still use. now I want to know the process by which I can change my KYC status from registered to validated. Could you please clarify this.
Me being NRI, status with CVL KRA is showing as KYC Registered. I did the validation through Email but not the Mobile number. Do you have any idea why KYC status is showing as Registered instead of Validated?
Mam I had kyc two years back as resident India, but recently 5days before I went to cams office and done physical , and documents submitted , adhar ,pan and passport and CDC as I am in merchant Navy , and new mobile no I filled ,but till now kyc is showing kyc modify - under process, how long it will take to validated ? Do I have to contact Cvl help desk? Please advise. Thanking you Mam
Yes, better you write to cvl help desk so you know the status and reason for that.
Great insights for NRIs!
Please let me know how I can do Kyc online ..Iam working in UAE..
I tried re kyc using SBI mutual fund online e kyc Option, I have aadhar and aadhar registered mobile no is active, However I realised that the Aadhar based e kyc only can register as Resident Indian and not as NRI. Hence I choose not to continue with the online e kyc
Even I did online Re-KYC using SBI MF.. but haven't got any response yet.. any suggestions here?
Hai mam iam investing in stocks from last 6 months iam NRI my pan is linked with aadhar and I verify with mobile number and mail also when I check my status in cvlkra it is showing new kyc validated please tell me that what is my next step I need make kyc again or not I think my pan is Indian citizen pan I need to change to NRI pan or not
NRI should stay away from Indian investment.. the govt can change rules like they change chuddis
All the best to you then:-) let me know if you find such well diversified high growth market anywhere:-)
@@keerthisfinfonricommunity thank you. I am talking about the government rules and regulations that keep changing on almost yearly bases for NRI investors… 🙏🏼
I am a NRI & my KYC is REGISTERED (as earlier OVD was Voter ID & it was done at CVL KRA)
But even after this relief for NRIs, still it's not possible for me to invest in new MF house. Please clarify.
Contact your platform or broker
it was last one minute which was having the update. No point of making such lengthy video and wasting time
Can you please explain, in this case
Lot of the nris who are residing in gcc countries are doing sip mf in India as Indians only not as a nris status.
What will be the impact? If
any. Regarding taxation, or it is mandatory to do invest as nris status only in mf investments in India from abroad especially from gcc countries....
It's not kyc or tax related but FEMA compliance.
@@keerthisfinfonricommunity : I have done Re-KYC online using SBI AMC.. but haven't received any update yet. I am an OCI and KYC on Hold due to mobile validation failed. I have an active India mobile number linked to AADHAAR & PAN
Can you explain what would be the solution to do KYC registration and validation as an NRI
In which bank you have account?
DON'T INVEST AND SAVE THOUSANDS OF HEADACHES. MONEY IN HAND IS BETTER THAN ON THE TREE TOP
Hi madam...I applied ekyc & I done thru Indian sim here , aadhar with pan OTP also completed... After 2 days one mail would come name mismatch ..,.rejected. In my aadhar initial to be removable....this is not possible online here...
Yes any name mismatch it won't be done, for aadhar you should do it when you visit india
We need option to add mobile and email address online to aadhar card.
Validation now is email or mobile..
@@keerthisfinfonricommunity for NRI ?
Mam, how about OCI card holder NRI? Possible to get Aadhaar?
Yes possible, they should be in India atleast 6 months then they can apply for Aadhar
Indian Passport is mandatory to get Aadhaar card
@sagarsoman no, foreign passport n oci card and parents aadhar card is enough. The aadhar center ppl just don't know the rules.I got for my son without Indian passport, OCI card holders won't get Indian passport.
Pls read the rules here The process is:An NRI seeking enrolment to visit an Aadhaar enrolment center and submit a requisite form along with valid supporting documents. Enrolm uidai.gov.in/en/291-english-uk/faqs/your-aadhaar/nri-aadhaar/12810-what-is-the-procedure-for-nris-to-enrol-for-aadhaar.html
Precisely my point that since OCI holders do not have Indian Passport they are not allowed to apply for Aadhar card
