I'd been digesting a ton of Necromunda lore when planning the campaign and there is hardly any info on Macharian hive cities currently. The campaign is finished now and it was very easy in prep to come up with Cawdor, Orlock, Delaque, Corpse Grinders, and Mutant NPCs plot threads. I think it would have felt much more generic otherwise. Saying that, the upcoming IM Starter Set will be based on a hive world which hopefully means tons of new factions and lore, and I would have used that if it had been available. It's also what I'd recommend to people wanting to do a similar campaign.
