I am an Indigenous American lady from the Midwest of the US, from Central Minnesota, to be exact. I see many similarities between my tribe, the Ojibwe, and that of the people of the Indian subcontinent. Big thank you for opening the eyes of the people who are not from the Indian subcontinent.
Interestingly, in Ramayana Sugriva sent army all over world to search Sita and one such army reaches South America (North America and norther Europe was under ice cover at that time). Previously I used to visit temples just for prayer. But once I came across Praveen ji's channel I started trying to understand the carvings, sculptures, etc in the temple whenever I get free time while visiting the temple. Now if Praveen ji discloses the knowledge then someone may try to destroy it and we can't guard every temple. He himself has admitted in his podcast with Ranveer Allahabadia that he has disclosed just 1% of knowledge he has gathered from our temples. After seeing your video , I have visited to Thiruperudurai Temple one month ago and amazed at the carvings there. Even still traditions at this temple are on very high side and respectful also. When I had darshan of Shiva and Lamp as devi, I felt that as if I attained a place in Shaivism with no consorts like Ganapathy or Lord muruga etc all in Atma swaroopa. This is absolutelt brilliant work Praveen. The temples are not simply places of Worship, they are places of Workship. The many temples make manifest the knowledge of heavens and the earth. As Above, so Below. They personify and illustrate the natural word and the cosmos. This is their purpose, to educate and provide a connection between humankind and the cosmos.
HIndus were temperamently holistic in attitude . Their mind tends to transcend/go beyond disciplinary boundaries. Further the way Praveen explains the temples suggests that hindus were a visual civilisation. We know today , holistic ideas are communicated best through pictures/graphics. An image can show you many stories if you know how to translate it and just getting the main tenets of the translation is barely scratching the surface...you could spend a lifetime trying to unravel the mysteries in this temple and still wouldn't cover everything!. Its from Greece. Actually India have theirown verson of astrology but the zodiac signs are from Greece. Ancient India call Greeks the Yavana's and the documentation of greek astrology is called 'Yavana Shastra'. These combined with vedic astrology and are still practiced in India. Basically the ancient Greek astrology is followed much better than todays Greeks by Indians in their daily lives.

I have looked at the depictions of the heavens from many different cultures but this is the first time I have seen something so ancient closely match up to contemporary western astrology and astronomy. The moon being male with the different wives representing each day of it's cycle matches up with the deacons of each constellation and that every degree of the zodiac has specific characteristics. The symbols above the planetary statues are something new to me. I hope to be able to find pictures of each so that I may study them further. Thank you for showing me something new today.
5:14 That is probably the key to solving the puzzle of that temple. From the looks of that 3d circular pattern, it looks like a rotatable switch. Behind that platform is the secret to unlocking how the temple mechanism works. The platform is already telling us to unlock the platform by rotating the center switch, once unlocked then full by the chains hanging on the platform.
It's just amazing how much detail you uncover just by looking up at the ceiling, looking above and below the statues, etc. Those stone rings are amazing and that they should be located in such a hard to observe part of the temple is incredible.

Previously I used to visit temples just for prayer. But once I came across Praveen ji's channel I started trying to understand the carvings, sculptures, etc in the temple whenever I get free time while visiting the temple.

I do wish that we in the arrogant Western world would study more and respect these ancient Eastern stone symbols with their deep understanding of life and human nature. We in the Western world believe that we know everything worth knowing, but we have barely scratched the surface. It is the quiet and dignified ancient Indian and Eastern knowledge which can truly teach us.
After seeing your video , I have visited to Thiruperudurai Temple one month ago and amazed at the carvings there. Even still traditions at this temple are on very high side and respectful also. When I had darshan of Shiva and Lamp as devi, I felt that as if I attained a place in Shaivism with no consorts like Ganapathy or Lord muruga etc all in Atma swaroopa. Till date I am able to feel the cosmic energy of temple like Tirupati temple alive in me. Thanks. Om namashivaya

This is absolutelt brilliant work Praveen. The temples are not simply places of Worship, they are places of Workship. The many temples make manifest the knowledge of heavens and the earth. As Above, so Below. They personify and illustrate the natural word and the cosmos. This is their purpose, to educate and provide a connection between humankind and the cosmos.
HIndus were temperamently holistic in attitude . Their mind tends to transcend/go beyond disciplinary boundaries.
Further the way Praveen explains the temples suggests that hindus were a visual civilisation. We know today , holistic ideas are communicated best through pictures/graphics.
We have to recapture that holistic vision once again . With Internet we can do that in a single generation.

Thank you so much. Hampi was one of my favourite stops. There is a very strange underground temple there, full of bats, like something out of Indiana Jones. I could never find any information on it, all we had were our Lonely Planet books.

An image can show you many stories if you know how to translate it and just getting the main tenets of the translation is barely scratching the surface...you could spend a lifetime trying to unravel the mysteries in this temple and still wouldn't cover everything!.

It's so cool how the carvings show that astronomy and astrology are related to each other. Especially in the ancient past. I wonder if the astronomy symbols we have originally came from India. 😊
Its from Greece. Actually India have theirown verson of astrology but the zodiac signs are from Greece. Ancient India call Greeks the Yavana's and the documentation of greek astrology is called 'Yavana Shastra'. These combined with vedic astrology and are still practiced in India. Basically the ancient Greek astrology is followed much better than todays Greeks by Indians in their daily lives.

I have looked at the depictions of the heavens from many different cultures but this is the first time I have seen something so ancient closely match up to contemporary western astrology and astronomy. The moon being male with the different wives representing each day of it's cycle matches up with the deacons of each constellation and that every degree of the zodiac has specific characteristics. The symbols above the planetary statues are something new to me. I hope to be able to find pictures of each so that I may study them further. Thank you for showing me something new today.

5:14 That is probably the key to solving the puzzle of that temple. From the looks of that 3d circular pattern, it looks like a rotatable switch. Behind that platform is the secret to unlocking how the temple mechanism works. The platform is already telling us to unlock the platform by rotating the center switch, once unlocked then full by the chains hanging on the platform.
It's just amazing how much detail you uncover just by looking up at the ceiling, looking above and below the statues, etc. Those stone rings are amazing and that they should be located in such a hard to observe part of the temple is incredible.
