There are a lot of addons, etc. in this great video that are great for all tractors.
Brushguard - get one, even if you have to get your local machine shop to make you one. So worth it. 🙂
Lube shuttle upgrades - upgraded my lube shuttle with a long locking connector, longer hose, and a holder. Thank you code GWT! 😄
Stump bucket - some will say tractors are not good for stump buckets but I have used them for years without any issue. Use finesse instead of force and they will reward you!
Pipe plug - awesome for extra storage and/or secret compartment. Heck with cash under my mattress, how many people would look there for my cash? 😂
    Again great video as always!

Videos and information provided are great and well done. I believe you would like to look at what I consider the best set up on the 4066R which is the Erskine 725FM. Front mount snowblower. It is an awesome set up driven off of rear pto with full HP of PTO, no power box or hydraulic motors required, awesomely heavy duty. Had lots of John Deere set ups but none as perfected as this.

We got a John Deere 5075E where I work, and I have to say I would have preferred an equivalent of a Kubota, we already have a 2001 M6800 that we’ve never had issues with and still love. The JD 5075E sometimes doesn’t go into gear, not a huge fan of the transmission, and has had sensors go bad and it’s a 2018. I’m thinking maybe the 5085 would have been better since it’s a bigger platform and engine, but we’ll never know.
Thanks for the vids! Great work!

Courtney, Great video on the 4000 series tractors, thanks for all your hard work and effort in putting it together. I own a 4720 and am fortunate to have most of the attachments you mentioned, thanks to many of your videos. One small item I would recommend is the steering wheel knob. I would suggest purchasing the JD one, even though a little more expensive it will have a thumb that rests on the spoke of the steering wheel for more support.
That was a great video you put together on the MK pull type snowblower. I'm wondering if you felt the rear scrapper blade was effective and worth the extra cost? I'm considering one of these snowblowers for next year. I currently have a 3pt. 72" and am tired of twisting my neck driving backwards, and am thinking that driving over the snow is not a deal breaker.
    thanks, Bob

Thanks for the great video! I’m waiting on delivery of a new 4052R. I’m upgrading from a 3033R. The dealer will be adding liquid ballast to the rear tires. Among other things, the tractor will be used to move large round hay bales. My JD dealer claims I won’t need any additional rear ballast. I’m not sure I agree. I have a ballast box that I used on my 3R, but I’d like to get away from using that, if at all possible. What do you think?

Love your channel. I am a mahindra guy I have 2015, 2540. Would you be willing to do a comparison between a equivalent Mahindra and John Deere. I'm wondering how they. If I lived closer I would volunteer to bring mine out. The thing that really stilled me to Mahindra was no DPF or Def fluid to meet tier four requirements.

I've been watching your videos, trying to educate myself. I am torn between a 3R series or a 4R series. One implement that I would like to run is a front mount snowblower. The 4 series doesn't have a midmount PTO. Was wondering if it can still be run on a 4 series with the extra hyraulic hookups, ie the 3rd function option or some other manner. Sorry, newbie here. Thanks for any information.

I have both on different tractors. They are both wonderful. It all comes down to if you like modifying your bucket or not. With the Heavy Hitch no modification needed.
I will say though with the Pirahna I have never felt the need to remove it. It is a permanent fixture to the bucket for me. With the Heavy Hitch I sometimes remove it for fine aggregate (sand, small base, etc.) work.
It really is a tough decision between the two. 🙂
