Oh my god yes! I remember calling my mom at work once when I was in middle school and the receptionist thought I was her son. I cried. Us deep voice girls had it hard 😂 lol
Y'all. I remember being 12 years old at my best friend's birthday party, and her asshole step-dad made fun of my low voice in front of all the other girls. I was always a shy/insecure kid to begin with and this was humiliating. 😅
I remember that as a kid people would mistaken me with my brother and vice versa whenever they called. Like damn??? I also remember (not too long ago) I played a shooting game (mostly guys playing) and I was talking to a guy during that game and when the game was over he said something where I realized he genuinely thought I was a guy the whole time and I did not correct him because that was wild 😭 I realized and also got told by others that if one was to talk to me for the first time + not seeing my face they are kind of confused by my voice so they often ask „are you s girl?“ because they aren’t sure. I have pretty "feminine" way of talking. my voice isn’t really common but I def get many compliments. People say they love listening to me, ask if I sing, and even tell me I sound very attractive and feminine. Once people talk more often to me online in calls they start telling me „I don’t get how this person who talked to you for the first time mistakes you for a guy. Like I cannot hear it at all“. That’s why my dear lady’s, it’s more like a what’s common and uncommon thing.

One of the things I remember most about Ned's Declassified was the story arc of Jerry in the sewing club. It's funny he felt that he had to go to such great lengths to hide something that kids at the time thought was "girly" or just something men didn't do. You could see him progressively get better and better, while still trying to put up a facade that he had zero interest in sewing and even seemed disgusted by it. His character eventually becomes more open about his sewing abilities later on, and I always appreciated that they showed that. This is one of those things growing up that stuck with me and made me realize how stupid gendered skills/ hobbies are and why we ever thought certain things were seen as "girly". Middle school me was pumped to learn how to sew.
Sewing is fucking kickass, dude. Being able to make an entire piece of clothing for yourself or your family is so cool, and it doubles as an no-stress activity that lets you catch up on movies or TV shows at the same time. Ngl, Jerry had it right.

This show definitely made me feel safer about school. I was constantly bullied and related to Ned so much. Thank you all for this show. It means a lot to more than you may know.
I remember the first time I saw the show the night it aired. Fell in love immediately, but wasn't sure what the other kids at my school were thinking at that point. We had just started 6th grade, and moved up from Elementary to Middle school, so I wasn't totally sure if Nickelodeon was still cool anymore. One of my friends came up to me first thing the next morning and started just rattling off stuff from the episode. Particularly, Cookie's locker being on the opposite side of the galaxy made us both laugh pretty hard. Pretty much everyone I knew watched and enjoyed this show. We were like, the perfect age. It lasted right through the end of middle school for us, and the ending is one of the most distinctive endings from any show I watched as a kid because it felt like there was some closure to the series, as opposed to the many others that just seemed episodic and never really connected. It meant a lot to me and still means a lot to me. I even remember when Devon came to RI to film Underdog, because I was kind of freaking out that Ned was in town. Glad to see you back together and doing this podcast.
These three starting a podcast was such an unexpected surprise that we all needed. It’s like no time has passed between them. They are having so much fun, the excitement they have telling stories is so great and entertaining to listen to. It’s bringing back such nostalgia for me as at the time I was in the same grade all the characters were and would watch the show after school whenever it was on. If I remember two episodes aired between 4-5pm.
Those first 15 minutes were so refreshing; we usually hear so many dark experiences in Hollywood surrounding child actors and entertainers. I would love to hear more of their perspectives on these topics once they finish the rewatch.

Uno sabe que el show fue realizado por personas que se preocupaban por lo niños cuando escuchan este diálogo: Cookie: Piensas que Liza es atractiva? This is your motivation to take a risk and grow with the people who have succeeded with you already. keep up the videos!!
3:50 Lindsey pointing out that puppy love was more innocent during OUR time, in the early 2000s, in middle school is true. I think kids nowadays feel the pressure of growing up and maturing faster than when we did. We were able to enjoy our youth without needing to figure out what gender identity, culture, and to not worry about social media as cell phones weren't a necessity and didn't have the capability other than calling and somewhat texting. (Had to "Top up")
You are not a kid in todays world so you can't say that. I was kid 20 years ago and the only thing we wanted to do as a kid was grow up so we could smoke, drink and drive cars. Kids always wanted to grow up fast. its nothing new. When I was 11 I would want to hang out with my brother and his friends and they were 17-18. I wanted to be his age so bad. Only once you have passed that age do you look back and go dang I wish I didnt rush. Its a normal human thing.

@@faboul467 its just odd to me that as a 13 year your faveorite thing about the show was the characters skin color and seksualities. When i watched it i liked the goofieness of the show, the comedy.

I was rewatching Seasons 1 and 2 of Ned’s Declassified a few months ago, for the first time since it was airing when I was a child, and the bit where Cookie’s locker is at the end of the universe had me in tears crying. This show has aged so so well and I’m really thankful we can get adult perspectives from the main actors.
Man they all aged so well it’s crazy I’m only 24 and it’s like I grew up alongside them watching the show
I’m glad they stayed in contact over the years, I hope this continues I’d love to see them go through every single episode and explain their emotions filming during and their reactions now
That "I almost died cuz this head was so big" followed by "I can vouch for that" was INSANE lmaooo.
Me. Like what the heck did she just confirm ahhahahhaha
@@A-ID-A-M that shit had me in tears, dawg
@@TaiTalksMusic even Cookie was like "OH- Damn" LOL
did she mean what i think she meant??
Is it just me or did she just confirm & imply that they did the deed aka they deflowered each other when they dated? 💀 what a way to end episode 2 of this podcast 😭
Edit: or not, in terms of the deflowering part, but the other still stands lol
being 26 (almost 27) watching you guys talk about the show is so nostalgic and so cool to see you guys all still being friends!
ill be watching every podcast you guys put out can’t wait to see how the channel grows! 🙌🏻
same here, 26 years old turning 27 later this year, loved this show back as a kid/teen
Same here, 27 in April 😭😭😭 omg time flies
IDK who the janitor /custodian was but I felt he was a great character that would also give ned advice when he needed it throughout the series. one of my favorite characters from the show .
And he voiced Cosmo and Timmy Turner’s dad!
Yes and him trying to catch the fucking weasel lol
Daran Norris he voiced Cosmo and Timmy's Dad on FOP

It makes me really very happy to know that every child who has participated in the ned show has been protected and respected for their physical/mental integrity.
You guys denote such a genuine friendship that it managed to transcend despite the fact that 18 years have passed since the show, this podcast gives me great joy, keep it up, greetings from Argentina
PD: I really appreciate that you add subtitles in Spanish for Spanish-speaking people
Hearing them use the phrase “courting” during the co-worker romance segment: 🥰
Hearing them talk about meeting around the watering hole at work and then you f*ck your coworker: 😳
We’ve all definitely grown up 🤣
Welcome to the wild world of acting and production. I have seen similar stories to what they describe play out just in local theater work. It is a wild ride on all levels of entertainment
Im kinda confused so did those two date?
@@MelodyGrooveJunction Ned and Moze did date for a while, I don't remember if it was on the second season like when their characters actually became a couple near the final episodes and after that. But yup
@@xCoMiXx ohhh okay thanks
Can't wait till you get to season 3. All the various romance episodes were so good, whether it's ned/moze, cookie/Lisa or Evelyn, moze/faymen, etc. So many crossing plot lines so well written
The line "They gave me a locker at the edge of the universe!" always gives me a good chuckle. The writing on this show stands the test of time.
Thanks!
This was even better than the first episode!! Super entertaining!!
Ah, thanks!
Ned’s really was the absolute best. The dummies and all the visual gags still crack me up to this day😂😂
I hope the show keeps this tone and lets the group be themselves without censoring. Love this!
It's so fun when they are talking just as friends, not generally the show
The clip where toot toot farts all of the air fresheners back into neds face literally had me in tears as a kid 🤣
im glad that they having a real conversation, people need to see it more
This show definitely made me feel safer about school.
Moze reminiscing about her relationship with Ned IRL was so pure
They're fucking
It's almost like she misses it, and both are single so maybe can happen again? 🥹
@@callmeNoro do we know for a fact they're single?
@@dawnlessnight as far as we know, they haven't introduce any partner on their social media for a while now
WOW this episode was so funny and the flirtatious energy between Lindsay and Devon is hilarious and so cute.
After listening to this episode, I am amazed that they were ever able to complete a single episode of Ned’s. 😂
It’s hilarious that the kids getting bullied in the show were lowkey bullying everyone in set 💀💀💀
😂😂😂😂😂
Those first 15 minutes were so refreshing; we usually hear so many dark experiences in Hollywood surrounding child actors and entertainers. I would love to hear more of their perspectives on these topics once they finish the rewatch.
Gracias por poner subtítulos en español, los amo!
24:31. When daniel says that it helped convay kids into thinking that you can think through things and everything will be alright. Is so true!! I loved watching neds for those tips.
Ned's Declassified is my number 1 of nickelodeon R-L shows i love the most. Esos tres son mui buena onda. Son verdaderos amigos despues de tantos años. True friendship. ❤ Ned's declassified the whole bunch & the Podcast. And so awesome that Daniel can speak español and is teaching Lindsey & Devon 2.
They've all aged so well
Love it!!!
This is great!! This is my new version of Ned’s Declassified. We might not have a reboot, or a sequel, but we got our favorite trio back and talking about our memories. This is the best way to bring back a series. And so genuine.
i'm so glad the gang's back together! thank you for raising me
Oh hey sinner
YOOOOO that ending was crazyyy 😂😂 48:56
Devin: “Almost died because my head is so big 😅”
Lindsey: “…I can vouch for that 😉”

¡Exactamente!
Cierto!
Fue una gran seria❤
Ned’s is such a core component in my childhood, bless y’all for your work then, and bless y’all for coming back together ❤️
Me encanta ver a estos tres juntos cuantas risas me sacaron de niño y ahora de adulto escuchando sus historias, los amo

It’s so wild growing up with you guys. Early 90’s kids growing up in this era. It’s so cool cuz I rewatched the show recently coincidentally about the same time y’all dropped the TikTok promos.

This is an OG trio. Devon you are still young and you can pursue your dream. Don’t obsess over your past (not saying you do) just reflect on it and choose a different lane to your dream. I am serious, y’all have impacted so many people, that your shows are talked about almost 20 years later.
@@Thomas-Skaa you don't need to be a kid to realize what they are going thru now a days. It's everywhere and they literally post it in thier socials.
This was actually kinda heavy getting into but I love how they handled it and weren't afraid to get deeper and evaluate the situation and the world
