Lindsey as a woman and Is Daniel as a black man how was it navigating the industry as a child actor up until now? What double standards and societal awakenings did you guys experience and what would you be willing to share of your personal life that you haven't already that could help the next generation
It was great hearing more from Daniel in this ep. I feel like Lindsey and Devon usually do most of the talking (I don't think Daniel minds it), but it was nice to hear more of what Daniel has been through.
Daniel needs to make a bbq food truck or some shit and call it “Cookie’s Cookout” because I can tell by the way this man talks about his bbq he means business
Seriously, I hope that once the strike is over someone has the sense to give these 3 their own show, whether a continuation of Ned's or something new. Their chemistry and intellect is undeniable.
I loved seeing Daniel open up more and seeing Lindsey telling him to speak in 1st person and the both of them giving him the space to speak and asking him more about it. Very Gestalt 🎉 the best ep thus far imo 🙌🏼👏🏻
When he lost it when Lindsey said "It made me feel really upset for people who are in fires", I started dying too. I know what she means, just out of context that is a very funny comment. Funniest episode yet.
That conversation about people selling answers to people needs to be clipped and go viral. Too many young men are suckered into bullshit "life courses" hoping its for the better but it actially does the opposite.
This has become one of my favorite episodes, and it's all because of Daniel. Glad he decided to share so much of himself this ep. I hope we get more soon.
I enjoyed this episode so much! Let give props to Lindsey because she stopped Daniel from moving away from himself and kept him on him. Loved learning more about Daniel, and as a minority in this country, I can relate to trying to find a place in it. ❤
Ned Declassified was literally my top favorite nick show. Now I’m a big fan of this podcast and it’s realism. They will always have my support. I really hope you guys get what y’all deserve get all of your residuals. This is a big issue. All the writers and actors that bust their behinds to make it possible. Love the vulnerability from Daniel on this episode. 🙌🏾 As a black man in America, it definitely feels easier to listen than to share our own thoughts and experiences sometimes.
"Be wary of looking too hard for answers because people sell answers" is seriously one of the biggest take aways from this episode. Honestly, that line resonated so much with me yesterday that I can't back to watch the episode again today just to hear it again and let it sink in.
Just wanted to say I think it’s so wholesome that you guys still encourage people to go and watch Ned’s even though you’re being screwed out of royalties. It really goes to prove y’all are in this for the passion of the craft or acting and nothing more or less. And that’s truly beautiful. And you are all beautiful. And Cookie/Daniel you done glowed all the way up, nothing can stop you, you’re all the way up. Devon you’ve grown into your handsomeness, always been cute. Linds, it’s like youre ageless in the best way, always been beautiful. Love you all, I hope you see this comment but it’s cool if not. Neds was my favorite nick show at the time it was on. Thanks for your influence on so many of your childhoods.
This has quickly become my favorite pod. Yesterday my older brother came to visit and I tell him to look at my phone and see if he recognizes anybody. Took him a second but he was like “Neds Declassified!” Legendary show and legendary cast
This podcast is straight up the highlight of my week. Daniel, I 100% felt and took in your story because I've been through those feelings but happy you're finding / have found your own voice and principles through it all.🎉
Depression is hard to talk about. Especially as a man. I’m the same age as Daniel and Devin. I feel like there’s no reason for me to even get up in morning. At some point in my life I just lost myself. Got no drive no more. Not breaking my mom’s heart is the only thing keeping me going.
Faith is what's keeping me going. Graduating college has been my peak and all I've done since college is take care of my mom. Caregiving sucks and if not for my Faith, I probably would've killed myself 2,3,4 yrs ago. There are days where I just want to lay in bed and sleep all day, but because I'm her only option and I have to do everything, I can't. Can't have a social life either or be out of the house too long because she's immobile and can't use the bathroom on her own. EDIT: I'm a yr younger than you, Daniel, and Devon.
this is so much easier said than done but i truly feel sometimes all we CAN do when we go through the ups and downs, or even completely lose ourselves, is to then trying to find that strength to build ourselves up and starting all over again. i hope life brings you both peace and passion to start the journey of finding you again ❤️
I love the progression this podcast has taken. I love the vulnerability that you guys give us. It feels like you are experiencing each other all over again and we are just lucky to be here and watch. Thank you.
Really appreciate you guys. Your podcast is great. Really resonated with the “playing a role” bit. Something I’ve learned thanks to learning languages is there’s more than one way to live a life and to look at the world, it’s a beautiful thing. Keep on spreading the love guys!
I relate with a lot of Cookie's outlooks. I similarly also fell in love with cooking because of the chemistry of it and plethora of ways to make an egg 😂
Re watching Neds and having this podcast alongside it really make me feel like I'm reuniting with family I haven't seen in years. My inner child is thriving and I cherish you guys! ❤
Love love love to hear Daniel open up💛 And he seems like such a well rounded adult, it's inspirational to hear his story and see how he overcame a bad mindset and himself in a way, thank you guys!
The bit about reading something that just reaffirms your beliefs being a sold to you as an answer is hilarious because that's quite literally horoscopes
Great episode guys. Daniel it was great to hear you open up. Respect for pushing through life and becoming better than you thought you would be. Much love y'all 🙏🏼
This podcast has a natural chemistry that is hard to find.I rarely listen to podcasts through to the end.this is one of 2 podcasts I do. Keep growing.looking forward to more from you guys.
Y’all truly are guides walking on this earth helping other humans figure out how to be a fucking human. Your role here is so important and I’m so grateful for y’all and this podcast. Keep being inspiring 💖✨
these three are like the upperclassmen that you never spoke to but you eventually became friends with. i’m only a few years younger than them but what they’ve experienced and what they share really opens my eyes and comforts me at the same time
I loved hearing Daniel share more about his experiences. Thanks so much for your vulnerability Daniel. Yes, quiet friends also have lots of interesting things to share, you just gotta ask.
Seeing you 3 together being yourselves and we can see the friendship we seen on the show feels more important to me than a show. Make that TH-cam money
This podcast is way better than it was meant to be. Talking about Ned episodes was interesting and all that, but the energy of the three is way more entertaining than that… Thanks for coming back.
Honestly really loved hearing so much out of Daniel this episode, knowing he’s dealt with such existential thoughts as well, it was great having him open up so much. Love all you guys, looking forward to each and every new pod ♥️
So glad I found you guys (again kinda 😂)! Loved this episode. It strikes the perfect balance of getting deep and still having fun. Greetings from Germany!!
You make my Wednesdays so much better. I listen to the pod. Get inspired. Then I have my acting class at night. Thank you for being honest and inspiring. Daniel needs to make a cook book! Cookie's cookbook or Daniel's "Cook" Book. Or something like that lol Then he can flaunt his 12 hr cooking times. I really hope once the strike is over you all get to shine together in something. You guys have a chemistry that is unmatched. Daniel talking about his rough times when he doesn't normally like to touch on those things means a lot. Showing his struggles to his friends and audience isn't easy but appreciated. Even Daniel who is so put together had a journey to get there. I hope you keep being amazing Daniel and know you are incredible.
I grew up watching ned's and been binging this pod nonstop! Resonate with alot of your stories and it feels great to hear other people whos gone through it and still manages to do great things and live a fulfilling life. thanks for being real, much love
One of my favorite things about this podcast is how lighthearted you all are but once someone mentions something deeper, you all are able to create a more serious comfortable space for those conversations. And even though you guys didn’t get the reboot, it’s great to hear what you guys have gone through because us as listeners grew up with you and relate soooo much!
This is the best episode. I LOVE this podcast. Guys, you don't even need to talk about the show anymore. Just talk about life and we'll be watching. You guys are fantastic!!!
"People sell answers" Actually it's people exploiting the vulnerable by pretending that they have all of the answers and only looking at them for monetary gain. Never believe somebody who is confident in knowing the answers to everything. The only people who are confident in their abilities are people who are fairly new to something.
I love this podcast so much! I always have a smile on my face for the entirety of the episode, you guys are just so wholesome and I love hearing from Daniel more. He's more quiet and listens the majority of the time but you can tell he has lived a lot and has a lot of experiences that would be nice to hear about. You three have such good chemistry and the conversation just flows so naturally. This podcast is the highlight of my week, can't wait for next week's episode! ❤
This is so trippy. Grew up with this show, absolutely loved it. The fact that all three of you are able to do this is amazing. Hope you all know how much of a positive impact that show had on so many people and I'm excited to see the future of everyone's work and this podcast!
This is honestly a wonderful podcast; it’s such a breath of fresh air. You guys are so humble and you all still have that same chemistry you did on Ned’s.
Wow what an incredible episode. This podcast has really truly been an Adult Survival Guide. Life is so dang hard and it’s amazing to share in it with you guys and know I’m not struggling alone. The topics you guys hit are always so deep and thoughtful.
Guys I love this podcast! Thanks for doing this - feels like talking with childhood friends which is weird but....so was growing up in the late 90's - early 2000s
Wow this episode is both hilarious and deep. Love it! Thank you for being real but delivering it in a way where I can laugh at the same time. That’s how you podcast right there! By the way, best show on Nick!
This was an especially great episode getting to see more into Daniel’s life! So glad you were able to get through that because unfortunately so many lose that battle! Thanks for sharing! I love you guys🩵
It's weird how the corporate executives that do nothing but advertise and market a product think they deserve more than the people who make their product. I believe it's an antiquated way of thinking from back in the days when you needed a record deal or to get into Hollywood to actually see success but with the current online world it just doesn't hold up anymore. We've seen countless people start careers online and become millionaires without ever signing a contract
22:12 heres the reason why for that! when you are making it for someone you care about, you are putting in effort to make it taste amazing and rarely skipping out on anything. If you are making it for mass production, someone is gonna skip out on the steps cause its for a paycheck unless you got a chief that truly cares, and is given more than enough to do their job right.
I hope that Devon starts his own production studio someday. We need more people like him- passionate, kind, selfless, and most important, deeply cares about the art and all the people involved. Also, bravo to Daniel for being so vulnerable and open.
What topics do you want to hear us talk about??
Horror movies
The Bus episode!!! Literally the first one to be filmed almost entirely outside Polk
Action Movies.
I wanna see Carlos PenaVega on the pod to talk about almost taking the role of Ned and eventually working with Scott Fellows on Big Time Rush

I believe it's an antiquated way of thinking from back in the days when you needed a record deal or to get into Hollywood to actually see success but with the current online world it just doesn't hold up anymore. We've seen countless people start careers online and become millionaires without ever signing a contract
you guys were my favorite childhood show, and being able to see you now every week is just a blessing!
Who knew “you gonna write a book some day” could be so unpacking. Men really do just hang onto a lot. Glad he’s doing better.
Breatharian!! 🤣🤣🤣 Daniel this episode had me cracking up! LOL
You guys are AWESOME!!!! These conversations are such a blessing and I am so proud of the people youve grown into
LMAO best hello fresh advertisement ever 18:54
Trap Lord Cookie LMAO. Never would have thought.
Just found this podcast through Anthony’s channel. I am already three episodes in and I can feel my soul healing! You guys are amazing.
The sudden silence at 16:55 lmfaooooo Daniel was on one today
I hope that Devon starts his own production studio someday. We need more people like him- passionate, kind, selfless, and most important, deeply cares about the art and all the people involved.
Also, bravo to Daniel for being so vulnerable and open.
Waiting patiently for Daniels NPC stream 😂😂😂
