Yes, it did leave a little residue from the double-sided adhesive. But I just took a cloth with some rubbing alcohol (you can prob use GooGone since alcohol is so hard to find now) and rubbed it off. It might take a couple of passes but it will all come off.

For the time I had it yes it stayed pretty straight. I actually took this one off for a bigger one a little while ago and then recently took that one off for an even bigger one.

I went ahead and attached more screws to help hold it better while I had it as some parts started to droop with just the tape. But I took it all off and went with a bigger air splitter on the front so I didn’t have it on for a very long time.
Nice vid. Is adhesive enough not to fall the rubber chin? I saw some vid that he uses screw under the bumper. He said that adhesive is not enough strength to hold the rubber chin. Im kinda confused.
I would also use screws. If you check at 4:30 in this video you can see I also added screws to help hold.

Hey, would you recommend using an electronic screwdriver for the installation? Or do you think your better safe with a drill???
Usually a drill is better because it can provide more torque to actually get the screws thru the harder plastics on cars. Those electric screw driver motors usually just bind up and don’t do anything when I’ve tried using them on harder materials.

Good vid.... Out of interest, did the lip remain firm, when it was jet washed?
I usually hand wash my car but I have used a pressure washer on it before when I had this lip and it seemed to be fine. If you are worried about the adhesive wearing off after wash you can always attach more screws where it might droop.
It's all breaking apart now. Just get another one

This is a pretty good and easy lip to install, however I did another video on a new type of body kit that you may also want to look into but they are more "winglettes" than a whole lip. Amazon also has some great universal kits. I got my tow hook on the front from Amazon it's just a dummy tow hook though so it's just stuck on with 3M tape.

I already have drill holes from previous lip. Any advice for adding new lip? Weld holes or try drilling bigger screws?
You can use a slightly bigger screw to grab into the already drilled hole or like what I had to do for some of them was just drill a new hole. My front bumper has probably 30 holes in it now from the different lips I’ve had now but luckily they are all underneath and can’t be seen haha!

Yup some of the holes I had to drill were very close to each other. One thing I did that helped though was drill a screw or two where you want them on the lip first and then hold that up to the bottom of the bumper and see where the holes need to be drilled

How has it hold up so far? I’ve heard others complaint about fading due to the sun but on other brand lips, not on this one particular.
So I’m interested on how it has held up.
I actually took this one off for a different style of lip kit, mine didn't fade in the sun though.

How do you get the curves so smooth without the lip bending. Mines driving me crazy
You may have to feather in more cuts at the back of the lip to get it to bend more smoothly.
I bought the same product and attached it.I've got six screws.But in a day, everything was torn apart except for the screw-in.So I had no choice but to drop glue on the torn part.Is your car all right?
Sorry to hear that. I ended up removing this lip for a sturdier one made of a hard plastic but it never damaged my car or anything.
Does the carbon "paint" goes away after a few months or it's durable and weather resistance?
I'm asking because there's also the classic black version of it which is just the rubber itself.

I never saw any of the carbon styled material fade or come off so it seemed pretty durable.

The surface i want to install the lip kit isn't painted or primered.
Bumper has some type of a spoiler for protection but it's unpainted black plastic.
Do you think it will hold well with the double sided tape besides using the self tape screws?

You’ll need to replace that tape with some other stronger tape and even then it might not stay on that long without screws.
hi just eant to ask if how i can fix curves in rubber lip skirt? because after i install i found out that theres so curves
Not sure if you can do it after the install, you might have to take it back off and let the lip sit somewhere straight for a little while to get the curves to lay flat and then put it back on. But if it’s already on that my mess it up, you may want to try a heat gun or hair dryer for not very long just to heat up the lip and mold it a little.

Yes, this is a universal kit so you just cut the length down to what you need.
What is that tow hook attached to?
lol it’s just a stick on dummy tow hook for aesthetics. I actually removed it pretty recently as I’m going to be doing something different for the front soon.
Would it hold without the screws? Or is there any alternative to hold it in place with no screws?
I suggest using the screws, I mean you could use more 3M tape but eventually in the heat and other elements it’s going to lose some of its hold especially with the force of the wind pulling down on it.

This is the only one I can find at the moment that has the red lip/carbon fiber like the one I use in the video. I believe most of these products come from China so quantities of the items may be low.

You will have to drill holes in the bumper unfortunately.
Dude those stick on tow hooks, how are they? For the life of me cant find a legit tow hook in BLACK for my car so stick on it is, does it survive car washes?
I wouldn’t trust it in one of those automated car washes with the spinning sponges and stuff it will probably get ripped off. Mine was great but I always hand washed the car after putting it and some other mods on I didn’t want getting ripped off.

Yes this will work on any car, just trim to the length you need.

That’s a good idea, I added more screws to this one as well when I had it.
Will it stick on metal surface?
Yes, just make sure you clean the metal surface of any oils or dirt beforehand so it will stick good.

The screws help hold it on, although I recommend more screws as the tape tends to wear off after a while.

Screws are unfortunately going to be your best option. The force from the wind pulls the lip down and causes the adhesive to fail.

Nope I actually took it off and put a new air splitter on with suspension rods. Nothing was wrong with this lip I just wanted to change it up and go with something a little more intense lol.

Right?! I had one of those “you’ve got to be kidding me” moments but luckily it didn’t get the adhesive dirty.
Would not recommend this even with screw, I installed mine with screws and after hitting curb on my driveway it fell off cause the material actually easy to get rip once there's a cut.

It could last for quite a long time, it’s a thick piece of rubber and the screws help hold it really well.

How is it holding up
Local Hypebeast I actually ended up taking it off and putting on a different lip kit (I have a video for that too) but it held up pretty well. My only issue with it is that around corners the material would start to look a little “bent” other than that it was a great lip!

It’s actual rubber. I cut some off the end that was extra and it’s rubber all the way through.

@@antonyaguirre21 nice, nah you should be okay I’ve drilled tons of holes into the bottom of mine. Just don’t push super hard or keep drilling after the screw is tight.

Yes it can! You can put this stuff pretty much anywhere, I’ve even seen people use it over their fenders to give their car a bit of a wide body look.

taga sana ol if your bumper is plastic like mine you should be able to drill up into it without destroying it just be careful, you want to find a spot to anchor the lip to like I show in the video.
