As a person born at the end of the 90's, I missed the chance to watch it on TV, but my Uncle showed me this series on TH-cam, and I love it to this day.
Way better than english dubbing. Italians kept original names. I'm also glad that italians kept original songs. In some anime thay added their own versions like in Yattaman, Tigerman or Gigi La Trottola. These italian songs are great, but original Daimos opening song is simply perfect.
Gosh the beat is timeless and freaking nostalgic....love the rythm and the Kodo drums mixed with the orchestral base is simply magnificent...classical treasure
From the greatest anime of all time. This show was pure soul and heart. There is an original soundtrack CD out there as well as an art book from Daimos btw.

01:48 sounds like Abarenbo Shogun. Both Daimos and Abarenbo Shogun was aired in 1978 in Japan.
