Final Verdict:
Using Ysera, you are forced to have a dragon build from the start, which isn’t that great. Ysera suffers from the same issue as jaraxxus, but not as heavy. To clear up some things, when I mention build it means the final archetype based on the warband. On the other hand, when I say strategy it means the method of getting to the final build. I have read many replies on my previous statistics about how unstable ghoul doesn’t help against the rats with mama bear, while i was focusing on the strategy which is rushing to tier 6 using rat pack.
2:38 Kripp shows us how to play Ysera in this textbook game: he leverages his strong tavern 1 position as Ysera to get powerful early-game dragons before quickly leveling to tavern 6 for the strong end-game dragons. He finishes 1st place at 13 health.
Damn ysera is so good just get 4 whelps right at the start and then just get crazy insane dragons and roll an early kalecgos from a random triple so easy
Razorgore is really good as well if you don't hit Kalecgos.

Losing by 1 minion to curator isn't exactly a sign of weakness. And losing nonstop, more like 2 times in a row, the other time by 1 hp.
I thought that was strange too. I was expecting him to stay on 1 for a couple of rounds more based upon the introduction.
I was surprised at first too, then I realized that, since this was seemingly his first time figuring out the strategy, the advice is probably a more refined version of what he did in the vid, which was the "first draft."
Don't know why rafaam kept hero powering even though he knew kripp wasn't going to be giving him anything good. And he gave a rockpool hunter poison instead of mackerel, which would have put in a lot more work
He probably gave the hunter poison multiple turns before he got mackarel.
Option one: Has one gold left and feels like a gold in the future is more meaningful than a gold spent on a dead reroll.
Option two: Has noticed that Kripp due to having Kalecgos often ends on a random battlecry minion that often also dies first.
Her hero power gives very high consistency to do good each game if you have a decent strategy with her, and this is it basically. Always getting Dragons throughout the game guarantees a minimum level of triples, and thus a good power level for your build, and at least several chances to go off based on what you get.
You forgot to add "highroll two togwaggles and extra dragons outside the HP" in your intro's early game explanation.

Ysera is a great play. I did one right b4 bed last night and it turned out real well. I recorded it and did my very first upload on it. It just really worked like I hoped it would.

ive tried staying on 1 with ysera like 5 times now and every single time i got only 2/3 taunts and couldnt do shit
I really don't understand why you sold the 17/20 close to the end there instead of togwaggle. The togwaggle was getting to in between 30-40 stats. The 17/20 with double kalecgos can reach that in two turns, so itd be pretty equal with tog, and you need nadina in the end anyways and having another dragon is way better than having togwaggle.
I really think people are harsh on togwaggle because he is not a dragon.I kept him most of my dragon builds and he carried me pretty much every one of it
@@ahmetkzlalper9265 I mean he's amazing and obviously carries early and mid pretty hard. But late hes objectively worse than the other dragons here. He'll be about the same stats if your dragons can kill things but he also wont have divine shield. Plus zap wrecks it.

I don't understand why you'd keep the waxrider with two Kalecgos. It's susceptible to being sniped and will quickly become outscaled by literally any other dragon in it's place
It consistently gets to high 20s in stats. I don't think anything could outscale it that late in the game.

I still can't understand why he passed up the overkill dragon for a vanilla stat welp. It scales way better in the late game considering most non dragon build run tokens and the whelp breath is only useful for popping Shields

The winrate is likely due to your video. I had had great success with whelp spam till you get a golden wax rider.

tbh in this meta nothing is nearly as good or consistent as gigantic brann-powered battlemasters.

When you say Ysera is in the bottom three of most wins, where do you get these stats? Experience or do you have a source?
There is a chart of best to worst win rates, and of course tirion is 1st and millhouse is last. You can probably find it in one of Savjz’ videos.

y'sera's hero power is kind of one of the most broken in the game as it stands
It's basically reroll+draw the perfect card for 0 additional cost

Ysera had nothing to do with that win. Shit I went dragons and discovered Kalecgos at 5* with patches (The pirate one, don't ask how I'd lived until 5 lol) and buffed my dragons so much that even poisonous divine shield murlocs broke down (thanks to Nadina and hero power which ensured I have more divine shielded huge statted minions than the opponent).

I feel like turn 1 the play is to buy the token and sell the 1/1 and use hero power like sure you are likely to lose 2 hp but it's worth it for the extra use of the hero power

@@antostar3112 Yeah, I got 1 red whelp and then 4 of those taunt dragons in every consecutive turn. When I tripled the taunt dragon the single red whelp became even worse.. :( Anyway, that RNG was the complete opposite of Kripp's RNG in this video.
