- In Nepal, ancestral customs are highlighted during numerous spiritual festivals that attract huge crowds. They take place in magnificent temples where sadhus, monks who have renounced all material ties, officiate. We follow Shivadas who must take paths with dizzying differences in altitude in the Langtang mountains for a spectacular pilgrimage. He goes to the Gosaikunda lake, at an altitude of 4,380m, to give thanks to the god Shiva.

I’m so shocked at all the garbage that they just throw all over that beautiful lake!! AND IF YOU BELIEVE ITS A SACRED PLACE TREAT IT LIKE ONE AND DONT THROW YOUR TRASH ON THE GROUND!!!
What's shocking the most is the smell of the high levels of sewage in the river. You can smell it in the summer time especially when you get out of the airport at Kathmandu. And it's only getting worse unfortunately 😪
I really dont understand the Hindus. Why they pollute their holy River and Nature. Seems Like its Not really sacred for them
