can u do an upadte on displaying a full black and red design on it? like i dont know some mountain image or some artsy stuff? i really want to see a real showcase, everyone showing this "price tag" graphics... no1 really shows full on capabilities ... how long takes to load a full screen image, how it shows etc... cause might be useful especially no battery to "freeze image" and by freezing how long will it sit until it goes back to black or white or whatever?
I will look at it when I have some time, been busy the last month or so. However, keep in mind that this kind of display is not really suited to display quality images. Usually you only get maybe 16 gray levels and the display is very slow to update. As far as I know, once the display has been updated the image will stay forever without power. This is why it is ideally suited to be used as a tag for something including price tags. A store employee could plug the display into a device that could update the display, it could then be unplugged and mounted somewhere. There are however, newer ePaper displays appearing on eReaders that have full color capability and update faster in a more acceptable manner, I hope these will be made available in the near future perhaps.
