That’s the same bale wagon I have. It works great . It took a little time to figure it out but once a Neighbor showed me some pointers I was a Rock Star lol.
Any chance you can post the exact dimensions for the entire project? I like your idea because it assists with ventilation. I could also leave the pallets full of bales in the field until I get six of them. Then stack all of the pallets on a large trailer and haul them back to the farm. Remove them from the trailer and simply stack them in the barn. This way I don't worry about height limitations. Thanks again for posting your idea.
Could you give me some measurements and general construction plans on building some pallets? I just picked up a 1033 and the pallet idea sounds great so we don't sacrifice our bottom layer to elements and letting them breathe.
It is really easy we use 2x10 and electrical conduit. just stand machine up in the dump position making sure that all the forks are laying on the ground and build pallet to fit your machine we notched the end that will sit on the machine in the load position
it does keep the bottom very clean. we use 2x10 lumber our pushers are both inop this allows us to get out from under the load with no trouble. if your pushers are working you could get by with shorter boards. please feel free to ask any questions about them i will pass along the info if i know it.
hey!!!! thanks for responding. my pushers are not automatic , so, i just dont use them. are the cross boards also 2X10"s? thanks again!!! a real dry hay season here in western new york, yeild is half what i normally get and very yellow still, looks like no 2nd cutting!!

Warum geht es von der Presse nicht gleich auf die Plattform bzw. Wagen? Das Einsammeln kostet Zeit und Kosten. Bei den anderen Verfahren mit Frontladern, braucht man aber einen großen Traktor. Ansonsten besser. Diese Rundballen und Großballen war Notlösung finde ich. Aber die Industrie braucht halt wieder Absatz. Die kleinen Ballen haben bei Heu bessere Qualitäten geliefert. Und damit lassen sich Strohhäuser bauen.
Great idea, I have a 1033 and have a difficult time unloading. Why are you using 2x10? Is it for the pushers? Can't you drive out from under using 2x6's?

Do you have the stack wagon controls in the tractor cab and if so, who did the conversion?
