This was probably my favorite episode thus far it really hit home Nick. When my dad got cancer (at least the first time) even though it was a horrible thing, it brought us much closer as a family when I we all needed it. It was somewhat a blessing in disguise and we're all in a happier place in our life because of it.
So much love in the comments. I hope you are ok. I can't help but think about the first time my uncle had chemo 5 years ago. It was the first time I saw him cry from the pain after. He passed away 3 years ago. I feel that it made me get to know him better because of the finality of his diagnosis. 1,000 miles is a long way to be apart most of my life. I love him so much and miss him so much. I hope your story has a better ending and you know how loved you are even if your family isn't picture perfect.
These videos have helped me with the my mothers rare lung cancer recently and Nick, thanks for cheering me up when things get tuff. My mother and I love these videos.

Perhaps the scene "chemistry" (strange word for a chemo episode) comes from being married to each other, but man! they both pulled me into the moment. (not that Nick Ross isn't a fine actor himself, but he's himself. And Train Smith did very well too) Kudos on the casting.
In a few days it will have been a year since I was diagnosed too, and I'm loving this series. Bring the memories back and it reminds me of how good life is now. Because it does get better. :)
I love how the most awkward thing about chemo was your parents. These always make me laugh, and then I wonder if I'm supposed to be crying or something else, still laughed tho.

I'm waiting to get the results of my biopsy back. I started watching HEH before I got the abnormal test results and it kind of makes this crazy huge thing a little less huge.
These stories are great. I have an autoimmune disease and get infusions often and I had a catheter when I was in hospital. I also have to get pulmonary test too! P.S. The saline tastes pretty bad… I know
I take chemo but I don't have cancer I and arthritis juvenile arthritis and I have to get shots every week and take pills ever night. Not to mention the bully's I have. My chemo take 8 hours sometimes 7. It sucks:
