For the third puzzle, thorns would also work. It reflects back the anger and fear of another player, and hurts those who try to hold you. It might be absurd to some (having thorns on armor) and is a simple word. It’s an enchantment that goes on any armor and hurts, which works for the armor stand and lava. It works for the dirt because thorns are on plants, which are grown in dirt. It also works for the pumpkin pie because some pumpkins’ vines have thorns. Ik ur probably not gonna see this, but there’s the other answer I thought of.
Puzzle three's answer should be thorns, and here is why. The Pumpkin pie and the dirt add up to the item id of 403 which is just an enchanted book and not specifically curse of vanishing. The thorns answer could also be taken from the dirt which is related to plants, and the missing pie slice in the pumpkin pie has the same shape as a thorn. The armor stand only having a chestplate represents how the enchantment table can only put thorns on chestplates. The lava below the armor stand is connected to thorns because the thorns hit sound effect and the lava pop sound effect are similar. Now for the signs. The first sentence on the signs is "I'm a reflection of anger and fear." this represents how thorns will do damage if you are attacked and being attack would most likely cause both anger and fear. The second sentence, "I can hurt those you hold dear." implies thorns because you could accidentaly deal damage to someone, without meaning to if they accidentaly hit you, and if you have a pet that attacks you, it could die, without you wanting it to. The third sentence is "somtimes I can be absurd, but sometimes I am simply a word." relates to thorns by the fact that thorns causes you to loose your armor durability at a faster rate which is completely "absurd" and the fact that the enchantment can still be triggered by ranged attacks, despite that making no sense. The "I am simply a word." part just references how the enchantment name is only one word long and you don't have to shorten it in any way. Puzzle 3 : I figured the answer was "Death". Think about it. Curse of Vanishing only works on a player's death, and causes the item itself to "die" (vanish) The image of death was represented by the armor stand on top of lava itself Now the signs. "I'm a reflection of anger and fear." Death can be inflicted in anger, often times actually But death can also induce anger, as in resent towards death itself or maybe putting the blame on something that doesn't really make sense but blaming it anyway out of grieving anger. And the fear of death is quite common, be it fear of our own death, death of our loved ones, or death in itself. "I can hurt those you hold dear." Literally, it can hurt them by killing them. That, or simply by killing someone THEY love and thus hurting their feelings. "Sometimes I can be absurd-" Death can be ridiculous, like surviving the entire world war but dying by slipping on ice or by a falling flowerpot. It's as ridiculous as that. Or when a player dies in hardcore world - think of Philza's S2 world, he died from a spider and a baby zombie after 4 years of never dying ever. Absurd, won't you agree? "-But sometimes I am simply a word." Death is a word. But I would more commonly point towards words that imply death. Like "goodbye" or "adieu" which can be said by a dying person or a person about to kill taunting their victim. It can also be said by someone to the tombstone of their loved ones as their final word to this person who died. Now, if you want a more technical meaning to death being just a word, I'll give you one good word... *Avadakedavra* !! Death can be but a simple spell, as illustrated by Harry Potter's infamous killing spell - which, unlike the equaly famous Wingardium Leviosa, is one single word which aims to inflict death. If you want to look further into clues that make half sense but are worth noting, the dirt block could refer to where we come from and where we return. Dust we are and to dust we return, born from the dirt and to the dirt we return. It can also reference a dead person getting burried 7 feet below, in dirt and below dirt. The pumpkin pie can give a halloween vibe as you don't usually use pumpkins on other occasions than halloween, and halloween is the time for horror movies like Child's Play, Saw, Scream, The Purge... All related to death. The pie itself can also refer to a grandma, an old person whose death is around the corner, representing the fact life will expire. And further in if you're that insane, a pie can be poisoned in order to kill. Hence, I think Death could have been an equally good answer as Curse, if not better to be honest now that I explained everything. Hope you like this little explanation :) you asked for a matching answer and here I gave one, hope you're satisfied!
Oh, this is a nice one! Honestly, Hate was my first thought-for multiple reasons-but I hadn't given it the indepth thought you did to Death being the answer. I didn't join the contest. Didn't even know it was a thing, really, till just earlier. Kinda sad, but I'd have probably failed anyways lol.
@@mdbgamer556 Honestly same LMAOO, but Hate could be just as good of a word I'm sure! Brainstorming it a little could have you see hidden meanings in every clue :) Hate killing is a shared thought between the answer being death and it being hate, as in death by hate or hate causing death
For the first puzzle, I was...actually stumped for a bit. But the blocks under the platform and the corners were a nice hint. Netherite and Ancient Debris are found in the Nether. Glass and Obsidian are related to the End. Composter and Emerald Block are connected with villagers. Iron Block and Gold Block are parts of a beacon. Next part: "You could bring me home to your place, but I'm not sure there'd be enough space". Bring home the Beacon advancement/achievement. Beacons take up a lot of space. And you can bring it home. So, I'd say beacon. Edit: I never paid attention to the flowers...I used process of elimination. And, yes, all of the corner blocks can be made into ingots. I just did "what do the corner blocks and the platform blocks have a connection to?" That's how I got to what I did. Keep up the great work ^^
Technically the 4 blocks all had something unique : The gold one was the only one that you could fortune, the ancient debris was the only one found in the Nether, the raw iron block was the only one made out of raw materials and the only one added in 1.17 and the diamond block was the only 'non-ore' one
ill tell u mine gold is only one u could fortune, ancient debri only in nether, raw iron only ore u can recraft(using raw iron and it is found naturally), diamond block is only one that can be made by the player
The problem with these puzzles is that there are multiple possible answers that you can think of. and you need the exact one that the creator is thinking with to solve it
During the initial test, there was a group of us who were analyzing everything, There were a few people who thought the word was beacon in the first 24 hours. We thought that was too easy and moved into a private voice channel. I don't think anyone from the channel wants to say anything so I'll make a list of a few things we did. 1. We reversed every part of the last 3 videos that Boosfer released in 20 second clips slowed down 5x. 2. We took the audio of a weird sound and made multiple images with it using popular programs. 3. We found a weird green screen with tons of dots of which we edited and tried to make out any codes that could've been used. Nothing showed up but the dots did match some letters of braille and SGA. We thought it was the key to the puzzle because when the group chat leader tweeted it to Boosfer, Boosfer retweeted it. 4. The dots looked like a multitude of different letters which only fueled our belief. 5. We (I) tried to figure out what the dots were by using a total of 21 different codes and ciphers, of which some had similarities but never came up as anything coherent. 6. We went to the link in the desc of the video to find a link to a channel that Jack has a relationship with, which seemed to be some type of ARG, but we dismissed it. 7. One of the things we did with the audio (I don't understand it myself but I watched the guy do it) Sounded like something from Halo, We checked and there is apparently a song called "The Trials" that sounded close to what the new audio was. That's just a few things we did, The group lasted for around two days at most before everyone left, we thought we were doing some Cicada 3301 mystery stuff
I mean, the questions were actually stupid so I personally wouldn't blame y'all going as far as that, although, you could've remembered that it's just minecraft ig
For trial #3, I thought the answer was "thorns". This is because when on armour, the armour reflects. Angry people will punch you and get hurt, instilling fear in them. If a friend jokingly punches/high fives you when you have thorns, it hurts them. In certain situations thorns can easily kill whoever's trying to kill you, without actually attacking them, which is absurd. And "thorn" is a word that can describe the enchantment, something on a bush, or it can be used metaphorically, as in: "you are a thorn in my side." So "thorn" is the only other answer I could think of for Trial #3. Great video though! I love the content and it always brightens my day.
Admitedly i would have never guessed the right answer but thorns didn't fit the bill for me because the dude was falling in lava, what would thorns have done, prick the lava that was burning him?
The third riddle could have been thorns but I do find see the lava, so my second guess was fire protection, btw thorns would also apply to guardians having it naturally, and "guard" could fit to be a reflection of anger and fear, but just thorns or guardian would fit very well. And the first one was way too overcomplicated, my guess was village, you can't fit it in it house and it matches with the emerald block and composer in the corner and middle of the room
I thought the first was ender dragon because "take me to your home made me think of how the dragon is in the end and we would take it to our dimension and then it would most likely be too big to fit inside a house a player built. It would match the obsidian because of the end pillars and the glass can relate to the crystals in a way.
"this was all the useful information to the puzzle" literally 2 minutes later: _the message of the day also tells you to go outside of the playable space to get the hint you need to answer the question_
well you can see that these puzzles are pretty stupid and it's one of the things that proves its stupidity. Also I think the only player that thought of saying cod as an answer (in 2nd puzzle) just got lucky
Is there going to be another challenge that we can participate in? After all, it said “Trial #1” on the original video. There has to be more right? (Also for the record I was so close to figuring it out on the first puzzle)
I actually thought the answer to trial 3 was "Thorns", as an Enchantment that triggers when your hurt, and can harm those you hold dear is the thorns enchantment. Additionally, thorns is somewhat nonsensical, as unlike actual thorns, ie berry bushes and cacti, it damages you when you hit the player, instead of just being close to it
On the third puzzle, I was thinking thorns because lava = damage, enchanted armor can have thorns, it can hurt those you hold dear, it can be useless like dirt, but the pumpkin pie was making my struggle along with the rest on the signs. Curse makes since tho, congrats coming up with all of these puzzles.
The pumpkin pie and dirt item ID thing grinds my gears, since numeric IDs aren’t used anymore even in the code. But the hint from those is “enchantment” which is already obvious from the chestplate, so I’ll forgive him
For the last one you could use that comparators reading from furnaces only change the output signal strength at certain values (e.g. 1-13 items give a signal strength of 1; 14-27 give a signal strength 2 etc.) to brute force the answer
Good puzzles are those which don't just suddenly lead to you applying a random fact about a clue in the puzzle... The information is implied which gives you a path to the right answer... For example the buttons on the wall and chains were indeed morse code, but there was no where in the room that hinted towards using morse code in the first place.
glad to see someone else agrees, these "puzzles" were 80% red herrings and garbage, willing to bet the dude made the solution first then worked backwards because some of these logic leaps are Olympic levels, and this is ignoring the fact that you would need a modded or hacked client to get all the information (an un-reachable sign, and seeing specific letters through those cobwebs certainly needed optifine zoom). Its dumb but people claiming to be intelligent for stupid stuff like this really grinds the gears. I can guarantee you noone who passed any of the trials used the same logic as shown in the video
Same with the S+1 thing There was not a single clue leading you to apply that to directions on a compass Seems like this dude just made up random bs and just loosely connected them as he went along to make it "A really hard puzzle only smart players can solve"
also the fact that the answer is "guess the fact that you need to use morse code, use a translator, guess where to stand based on random trivia, guess what to do with a random string of characters, then randomly look at a sign in a very specific position for absolutely no reason" is beyond stupid. these dont read as puzzles to me, more flashy sequences of barely connected _things_ that can be read out loud in a video to APPEAR clever.
For the first answer, I would choose “beacon” Second answer, I’d probably have chosen “bow” because it can be used as fuel in an oven, and you can get the string from the cobweb. Alot of words started with the letter ‘C’, just like cobweb. Third answer: thorns
I would guess wither, maybe beacon now that i think of it. I just think that the nether specifically the wither is the only thing with a near direct connection to the stuff in the room. Wither roses, netherite, ancient debre and the warped signs. Beacon is also good tho. Beacon has a direct connection to the wither so i think we had a similar thinking process. Also, for when it said that you could take to to your home but you probs wouldnt have space, the wither is big and it is very hard to trap the wither because it blows everything up. Edit: I was wrong but i am not super disapointed because i took barely any time to answer it and i am very young
here’s some signs, you didn’t actually choose beacon for first answer because 1. Edited 2. No explanation 3. It’s correct where none of your others are remotely close 4. Some people are like that
I actually DID get the first one right, and here’s me defense to your points. 1. Yes, it is edited, because I commented my answer before the actual answer was given in the video, and I also wanted to put my answers for the next riddle in this comment. 2. The “bring home the beacon” reference was really obvious in the sign, so I thought no explanation was necessary. 3. Why would I lie about the easiest one, when I could’ve lied about multiple, or a more difficult one. Plus, it’s really difficult to figure out the other ones in such a short period of time when there’s not a really obvious hint, plus you can’t just look around for a minute and search for the clues that Boosfer didn’t talk about yet. 4. Well, I’m not like that, so stop being a little bitch and assuming things about someone you don’t even know because they got a really easy riddle correct.
You could make this into a whole series! Hear me out... Do multiple of these videos. Don't let the first place winner(s) of the previous videos compete in the new ones. Then, after x amount of videos. you have all the winners of the previous videos compete against the other winners to prove that they are the winner of winners.
I actually worked out the answer to the last room before i finished watching the video - each of the rooms has a different coloured floor so the number from each room is the amount of coal that you should put in the furnace because the furnaces were all behind coloured blocks that were the same colour as the floor of the rooms so that tells you how much coal to put in each furnace
I'm guessing before the answer is revealed for the final part: (at 20:00 mark) Yellow - 55 (Hardness) Pink - 57 (Diamond block id) Blue - Y coordinates Lime - How many blocks needed to get up
For puzzle No. 3, I thought thorns since it is an enchantment that is a reflection of an attackers anger and fear back onto him, and the enchant may be seen as absurd since killing becomes so much harder. I made sense of the lava since thorns activates on damage, which lava is a source of.
For puzzle 3 I thought of vengeance or revenge. Reflection of the anger and fear of being wronged or betrayed. Revenge often ends up hurting the ones you love in one way or another, by either collateral damage, or further retaliation. The ways people take revenge can get quite out there, and words themselves can deal significant damage. As for the hints a story came to mind. Two players on a survival world, one thought it be funny to trick their friend into falling into lava with a dirt block. The victim dies a loses their enchanted armor that they worked really hard for. As "revenge," the victim gives the other player a poisoned pie. (I don't think you can poison pumpkin pie, but it fits the story)
on the third challenge, my first thought was thorns. "I'm a reflection of anger and fear". someone is usually known as thorny or prickly if they are experiencing these emotions. also someone in minecraft may have it due to fear or anger. also enchanted chestplate. but the dirt and pumpkin pie was throwing me off, as well as the rest of the riddle
Some great content! Also very pleased that my two braincells pingponging around in my mind managed to accidentally guess the correct answer to the first puzzle room; Made me feel a little less empty headed than I normally am!
that's the thing, you *accidentally* guessed the correct answer, and it's not only because you may be stupid but because the puzzle itself didn't make much sense
but he literally guessed it, there's no way he did everything boosfer said right. No one in the world would think of that. Nothing lead to watching thru a cobweb at the right angle with an OPTIFINE ZOOM. He just guessed cod because it starts with a C and got lucky to think of a cod instead of a chicken
At 22:00 the block that stood out for me is the ancient debris because everything else is only minable in the overworld. Ancient debris can only be found in the nether
For me it was the gold ore, cause:- Diamond block can be broken by diamond pick Raw iron block can be broken by iron pick Ancient debris can be broken by netherite pick
11:20 it can be a ghast because 1. it makes fear and angry noises 2. It's absurd 3. It's a word 4. As the chestplate was standing above lava it connects with fire protection enchantment which sometimes makes you invincible in lava and note ghast doesn't take damage in lava
for the third puzzle, soul sand would almost work. It is an embodiment of fear and can hold the ones you hold near. it's just 2 words. i guess you could also just say the nether if you wanted a single word
The enchantment on chest plate could also be fire protection so the answer could have been fire because fire makes people angry and some people also fear it because they fear loosing their items when they die in a fire. Some people also find it absurd because they enchant their armor with fire protection instead of protection.
The answer to the "Stand out block" puzzle was never really conveyed in the video. What was the answer? Personally I thought it would be Ancient Debris, since that block was the only one out of the four that could be not be mined and obtained with anything other than a Diamond Pickaxe.
either its ancient debis because its not made out of ore or is an ore(unlike raw ore block, gold ore and diamond block) it is a debris. or raw iron block since it cannot be naturally generated(diamond blocks CAN be naturally generated in pillager mansions in one of the secret rooms).
The pink question room has multiple correct answers: 1st - ancient debris is the only block that isn't in the overworld so it matches demands, and the second is diamond block, as it is the only block that can't be smelted out of the selected 4, standing out enough to be correct. Same thing with the enchantment question in the previous stage - it can logically be at least 3 things: curse, thorns or taxes.
the third puzzle made me think "thorns" immediately bc it's one word, and fits the enchanted armor and can hurt allied players if they don't realize you have it or if they accidentally hit you
That puzzle was way easier because the only way boosfer could've taken redstone output out of furnaces is comparator. Mumbo jumbo would've won that in 10 minutes, because there are big gaps of the same redstone strength, just guessing is enough.
Indeed, once the lime room was completed and the furnaces found, people who know Redstone well could do that. Probably not 10 minutes, probably 15 - 20 minutes, it took a second to click for other contestants.
i am guessing (before watching the rest of the video) that the solution to puzzle 3 is the thorns enchantment, since on the sign it says i am a reflection of anger and fear and when you hit someone when they are wearing this enchantment, you get damaged. the enchanted chestplate was also a hint for this. the pie and the dirt is kinda throwing me off but I'm still locking in this answer.
I still think the whole morse code puzzel was kinda unfair, expecially if the contestents did not know that they could use google. But overall very well made.
I think it was unfair because surely you might see different letters depending on where on the block you stood, and *definitely* if you weren't using vanilla textures
For puzzle 3 I was thinking "Irrational". Pi is an irrational number, Putting an armor stand with enchanted armor over lava is irrational behavior, and it fits the text description.
The answer for the third riddle could also be thorns. We start the same way. We now need an enchant book. Anger and fear could mean thorns since thorns enchantment in minecraft is something that is used when you have fear of other mobs or used when trying to put forth your anger of someone killing you. Thorns also connects to lava since a cactus destroys all of your items when you die, jut like lava and a cactus has thorns. Hurting those so dear can mean just that you are having a PVP match with a friend but they get hurt due to the enchantment. The absurdity here is how the cactus can literally destroy a netherite ingot due to its thorns but even lava nor TNT can. And its only word thing is when you search it up in a dictionary. 2 definitions. One being that it is a sharp woody projectile and the other for it to be a Bush. And a Bush is just a word. This can be an alternate answer for the third puzzle.
The smartest player... the best pvp player... It's not who we know... they are always people who don't have any connections with people they always walk in the shadows and no one knows who they are we just assume the best player known is the best in the world
I feel like Boosfer is going to make multiple trials with each different requirements to win. For this one, you needed intelligence. So for the next ones, you might need skill in fighting, agility for parkour or great stamina for… idk! Just a theory!
My thought for the 3rd puzzle was imidently "" because; - You're hurt by berry bushes because of their and the bushes can be placed on dirt (dirt block) - It's an enchantment, and it hurts/can kill you(Enchanted armour & lava) - Pumkin plants can have thorns on them (Pumkin pie) - "", "Prickly" or "Being a prick" are things that can describe someone sour, cold, or rude someone can be like this due to anger and fear (1st sign) - When someone is labeled as "Prickly" and it's because of anger/fear, they can react badly to people around them and for that person it may be an unusual, or absurd behaviour for them (1st & 2nd sign) -Prick can also just be used for someone doing something annoying, without the deepness of it, making it what some would call an empty word, or just a word (2nd sign)
This is great content, it brought players together to solve some hard puzzles, and it gave us viewers a chances to watch the gifted individuals go through some of their processes. This was a well awaited treat, thanks boosfer for taking the time out to create these puzzles and to capture it on film for us to watch.
I wished I knew beforee but nonetheless this was great! Hopefully you make more dynamics like this, I love your videos and would love to be part of something like this!
Good spectacle, somewhat amateur puzzle design. Solid B! 🙂. Vague or arbitrarily obscure don't weed out clever players, but lucky ones. That said, each player did demonstrate their cleverness! It'd be cool to see a more structured rule set about how hints were obtained and how they affected your score, such as each hint adding more and more time to your final score, same list and order of hints for each player per room, etc.)
For the 5x5 bedrock room puzzle, it could be love. It's a reflection of anger. Can hurt the people you love because you love them too much, can be absurd, sometimes it is just a word.
I'm surprised that the "smartest" minecraft player is determined by puzzle solving. Tou would think it would be survival challenges or general knowledge of the game. However, as my parents say, "if they had fun, no harm is done."
Survival challenges are skill. General knowledge is, as you said, knowledge (not the same as smart) Puzzle solving is the best way to determine intelligence, that’s why they are used for IQ tests
@@msaocer IQ test have been Proven time and time again to be worthless when measuring intelligence, they test memorization of facts or ideas, not intelligence
intelligence is not just problem solving, but even if we go just on that aspect of intelligence then you would need a wider selection of problems, not just a "think out the box" puzzle game
The only thing is, if the armour stand is above lava and since the chest plate wasn’t netherite, wouldn’t the chest plate have disappeared anyway? Even without a curse? Still a cool puzzle, I really like that riddle
11:23 a gun. It can be a reflection of anger because of impulse, a reflection of fear because of self-defense, absurd because some guns shoot at absurd rates or do absurd damage, and technically gun is a word.
Hm not 100% sure for #3, but violence? It originates from anger and fear. Hurts those to who we hold dear. Sometimes it can be absurd. And sometimes it's simply a word (for those who never lived trough violence)
I think it’s “void”. It takes your stuff like curse of vanishing, and the only reason you would fall into it was because a player was scared/angry and knocked you in, or End creatures got aggravated and pushed you in.
Same here, it always bugs me when there’s multiple connections and they only want one. Once he mentioned the beacon crafting recipe the entire puzzle clicked instantly.
I think a good answer for number three is "thorns" it is a reflection like the riddle says, it is an enchantment like the item ids, and if you punch an armor stand with thorns armor you will take damage.

Ik ur probably not gonna see this, but there’s the other answer I thought of.
good to know im not stupid and other people actually thought this
I thought thorns too if I'm being perfectly honest
I also thought of thorns precisely because of the enchanted Armor and the first sign.
Bro I immediately thought of thorns too, glad to know I don't look dumb
Well considering how many people thought the answer was thorns including me, that answer is probably too obvious xD

Normally I won't read such a long comment but this one is actually pretty good
@@mdbgamer556 Honestly same LMAOO, but Hate could be just as good of a word I'm sure! Brainstorming it a little could have you see hidden meanings in every clue :) Hate killing is a shared thought between the answer being death and it being hate, as in death by hate or hate causing death
@@SsTzRn Well I'm glad it was interesting enough to keep you reading :)
woah woah I’m not reading all of this
For the first puzzle, I was...actually stumped for a bit.
Keep up the great work ^^
Not all of the corner blocks, obsidian was one of them.
I guessed beakon from the 4 corner blocks and kept my answer
Technically the 4 blocks all had something unique :
The gold one was the only one that you could fortune, the ancient debris was the only one found in the Nether, the raw iron block was the only one made out of raw materials and the only one added in 1.17 and the diamond block was the only 'non-ore' one
funnily enough, they all relate to a beacon in some way or another even by a long shot
ill tell u mine gold is only one u could fortune, ancient debri only in nether, raw iron only ore u can recraft(using raw iron and it is found naturally), diamond block is only one that can be made by the player
And also diamond is the only one that cannot be smelted
Also gold is the only one that doesn’t drop itself when mined
iron is the only one not used in netherite gear
Boosfer: Im going to be fair to every player.
Also Boosfer: Take a screenshot of these blocks.
Actually I’m the smartest Minecraft player. I’ve built a dirt house. That is all the proof you need

This isn't how you find the smartest player in Minecraft, this is just how to find the person with the same brain as the creator of the riddle
@Norbert Naszydłowski it’s not even the smartest it’s the subscriber that thinks the most like boosfer
the Id one on the third test was the weirdest, who would've thought that far? besides the four that did
True
Why are yall mad lol
True. :/
And "thorn" is a word that can describe the enchantment, something on a bush, or it can be used metaphorically, as in: "you are a thorn in my side."
So "thorn" is the only other answer I could think of for Trial #3.

I also first thought thorns!
@@toadster4702 yeah i read the riddle and thorns popped into my mind, the whole id thing is a bit too minecrafty for me
I actually thought it was fire protection.
I thought the first was ender dragon because "take me to your home made me think of how the dragon is in the end and we would take it to our dimension and then it would most likely be too big to fit inside a house a player built. It would match the obsidian because of the end pillars and the glass can relate to the crystals in a way.
I think “death” is a good answer for it

OMG, that is a really good idea lol! Or what is they made one for Boosfer?
I actually thought the answer to trial 3 was "Thorns", as an Enchantment that triggers when your hurt, and can harm those you hold dear is the thorns enchantment.
Additionally, thorns is somewhat nonsensical, as unlike actual thorns, ie berry bushes and cacti, it damages you when you hit the player, instead of just being close to it
yeah boosfers dum
lol same
yeah same
It can’t be just a word though it’s a object
@@CerealIs2Gud anything can be a word, everything almost HAS to be a word, the word "thorns" is a word even
On the third puzzle, I was thinking thorns because lava = damage, enchanted armor can have thorns, it can hurt those you hold dear, it can be useless like dirt, but the pumpkin pie was making my struggle along with the rest on the signs. Curse makes since tho, congrats coming up with all of these puzzles.
The pumpkin pie and dirt item ID thing grinds my gears, since numeric IDs aren’t used anymore even in the code. But the hint from those is “enchantment” which is already obvious from the chestplate, so I’ll forgive him
I didn’t even know that items had IDs
Fire protection or something would make more sense
For the last one you could use that comparators reading from furnaces only change the output signal strength at certain values (e.g. 1-13 items give a signal strength of 1; 14-27 give a signal strength 2 etc.) to brute force the answer
Good puzzles are those which don't just suddenly lead to you applying a random fact about a clue in the puzzle... The information is implied which gives you a path to the right answer... For example the buttons on the wall and chains were indeed morse code, but there was no where in the room that hinted towards using morse code in the first place.
I'm with you!
glad to see someone else agrees, these "puzzles" were 80% red herrings and garbage, willing to bet the dude made the solution first then worked backwards because some of these logic leaps are Olympic levels, and this is ignoring the fact that you would need a modded or hacked client to get all the information (an un-reachable sign, and seeing specific letters through those cobwebs certainly needed optifine zoom). Its dumb but people claiming to be intelligent for stupid stuff like this really grinds the gears. I can guarantee you noone who passed any of the trials used the same logic as shown in the video
Same with the S+1 thing
There was not a single clue leading you to apply that to directions on a compass
Seems like this dude just made up random bs and just loosely connected them as he went along to make it "A really hard puzzle only smart players can solve"
also the fact that the answer is
"guess the fact that you need to use morse code, use a translator, guess where to stand based on random trivia, guess what to do with a random string of characters, then randomly look at a sign in a very specific position for absolutely no reason" is beyond stupid.
these dont read as puzzles to me, more flashy sequences of barely connected _things_ that can be read out loud in a video to APPEAR clever.
@@a_guy_in_orange7230 im willing to bet the person who got COD as the answer was just randomly guessing foodstuffs and got lucky
For the first answer, I would choose “beacon”
Second answer, I’d probably have chosen “bow” because it can be used as fuel in an oven, and you can get the string from the cobweb.
Edit: I was wrong but i am not super disapointed because i took barely any time to answer it and i am very young
here’s some signs, you didn’t actually choose beacon for first answer because
1. Edited
2. No explanation
3. It’s correct where none of your others are remotely close
Like an All Stars game? I like that idea. Hope Boosfer decides to do this. Good job : )
I actually worked out the answer to the last room before i finished watching the video - each of the rooms has a different coloured floor so the number from each room is the amount of coal that you should put in the furnace because the furnaces were all behind coloured blocks that were the same colour as the floor of the rooms so that tells you how much coal to put in each furnace
well yeah obvs
Well the hard part is getting the numbers. Except I’m a year late u prob know this by now
I'm guessing before the answer is revealed for the final part: (at 20:00 mark)
Yellow - 55 (Hardness)
Pink - 57 (Diamond block id)
Blue - Y coordinates
Lime - How many blocks needed to get up
Yessss bro
Bruuuuuh
For puzzle No. 3, I thought thorns since it is an enchantment that is a reflection of an attackers anger and fear back onto him, and the enchant may be seen as absurd since killing becomes so much harder. I made sense of the lava since thorns activates on damage, which lava is a source of.
11:24 i thought the answer was "Thorns" as it: can hurt people, is an enchantment and only activates when you take damage (which relates to the lava).
I'm very happy we got a big thick and bold arrow to tell us who this genius is

Also very pleased that my two braincells pingponging around in my mind managed to accidentally guess the correct answer to the first puzzle room; Made me feel a little less empty headed than I normally am!
that's the thing, you *accidentally* guessed the correct answer, and it's not only because you may be stupid but because the puzzle itself didn't make much sense
I feel like coolprodavid should get something special for being the only one to get the hard one.
Yeah
but he literally guessed it, there's no way he did everything boosfer said right. No one in the world would think of that. Nothing lead to watching thru a cobweb at the right angle with an OPTIFINE ZOOM. He just guessed cod because it starts with a C and got lucky to think of a cod instead of a chicken
the penguin guy was so clueless, i loved it.

At 22:00 the block that stood out for me is the ancient debris because everything else is only minable in the overworld. Ancient debris can only be found in the nether
For me it was the gold ore, cause:-
Diamond block can be broken by diamond pick
Raw iron block can be broken by iron pick
Ancient debris can be broken by netherite pick
For me it was the diamond block, because its the only one that doesn't spawn naturally
it was the iron for me. Was the only block in both versions of the pink room that couldn't be used as an ingredient for netherite gear.
You can find gold in the nether
@@IronEdits_YTdiamond block can spawn naturally in woodland mansion secret room
11:20 it can be a ghast because
1. it makes fear and angry noises
2. It's absurd
3. It's a word
4. As the chestplate was standing above lava it connects with fire protection enchantment which sometimes makes you invincible in lava and note ghast doesn't take damage in lava
5:37 “i am really proud of my community”
that one guy jumping randomly in the corner
this makes some very entertaining content. you should host more of these from time to time
for the third puzzle, soul sand would almost work.

Personally I thought it would be Ancient Debris, since that block was the only one out of the four that could be not be mined and obtained with anything other than a Diamond Pickaxe.
it was gold ore
@@omegamad WHY?
I think it was ancient debris cause it was the only one found in the nether
@@DraconicDuelist I think because gold ore is the only one with a specific number?(fortune) though diamond block also fits this criteria
either its ancient debis because its not made out of ore or is an ore(unlike raw ore block, gold ore and diamond block) it is a debris. or raw iron block since it cannot be naturally generated(diamond blocks CAN be naturally generated in pillager mansions in one of the secret rooms).
The pink question room has multiple correct answers: 1st - ancient debris is the only block that isn't in the overworld so it matches demands, and the second is diamond block, as it is the only block that can't be smelted out of the selected 4, standing out enough to be correct. Same thing with the enchantment question in the previous stage - it can logically be at least 3 things: curse, thorns or taxes.
the third puzzle made me think "thorns" immediately bc it's one word, and fits the enchanted armor and can hurt allied players if they don't realize you have it or if they accidentally hit you
In the first puzzle I actually got it instantly just by watching the bring me home as the achievement
It is a good day when Boosfer uploads.
When a video about the smartest player shows a wrong math formula
That puzzle was way easier because the only way boosfer could've taken redstone output out of furnaces is comparator. Mumbo jumbo would've won that in 10 minutes, because there are big gaps of the same redstone strength, just guessing is enough.
Indeed, once the lime room was completed and the furnaces found, people who know Redstone well could do that. Probably not 10 minutes, probably 15 - 20 minutes, it took a second to click for other contestants.
The question really is: was there actually cod in the furnace?
i am guessing (before watching the rest of the video) that the solution to puzzle 3 is the thorns enchantment, since on the sign it says i am a reflection of anger and fear and when you hit someone when they are wearing this enchantment, you get damaged. the enchanted chestplate was also a hint for this. the pie and the dirt is kinda throwing me off but I'm still locking in this answer.
At the beginning of the video I was already like: 'What if the smartest player is on Bedrock Version?'
Isnt Thorns part of a plant too? Maybe that’s why there is dirt
It wasnt thorns, tho good to know that im not the only human being who thought it was thorns. I feel less stupid
I WAS CHEERING FOR BARDI LES GOOOOOOOOO GO BARDI!!
But how were we supposed to see the sign outside the box?
I still think the whole morse code puzzel was kinda unfair, expecially if the contestents did not know that they could use google. But overall very well made.
Ikrt
I think it was unfair because surely you might see different letters depending on where on the block you stood, and *definitely* if you weren't using vanilla textures
All of the tests seem unfair, overcomplicated, and not very big brain
Why do I feel like boosfer wants to unify the Minecraft community
Same
For puzzle 3 I was thinking "Irrational".
This can be an alternate answer for the third puzzle.
ok cool but 4:50 HOW THE HEC ARE WE SUPPOSED TO KNOW THERE'S A SIGN OUTSIDE THE ROOM FLOATING IN THE VOID???
11:25
Idk I just feel it fits thorns
I thought the correct answer was thorns. As it reflects your anger from getting hit to other enemies and stuff
Congrats Bardi! Also very well made Boosfer, ur escape rooms and puzzles appear very challenging.

Here before this actually happens
Some kinda dungeon map to fight through might be a cool idea!
My thought for the 3rd puzzle was imidently "" because;
- You're hurt by berry bushes because of their and the bushes can be placed on dirt (dirt block)
- It's an enchantment, and it hurts/can kill you(Enchanted armour & lava)
- Pumkin plants can have thorns on them (Pumkin pie)
- "", "Prickly" or "Being a prick" are things that can describe someone sour, cold, or rude someone can be like this due to anger and fear (1st sign)
- When someone is labeled as "Prickly" and it's because of anger/fear, they can react badly to people around them and for that person it may be an unusual, or absurd behaviour for them (1st & 2nd sign)
-Prick can also just be used for someone doing something annoying, without the deepness of it, making it what some would call an empty word, or just a word (2nd sign)
This is great content, it brought players together to solve some hard puzzles, and it gave us viewers a chances to watch the gifted individuals go through some of their processes. This was a well awaited treat, thanks boosfer for taking the time out to create these puzzles and to capture it on film for us to watch.

I think it’s “void”. It takes your stuff like curse of vanishing, and the only reason you would fall into it was because a player was scared/angry and knocked you in, or End creatures got aggravated and pushed you in.
