I've been thinking of getting this as I've been rather tired with the issues I've been having with OBS regarding stablity. Only thing I can think of that would make this device even better is to have playback controls for media on the sd card so you can que videos up easier.
    Otherwise this is awesome! :)

Yeah I agree 100% with the sd card playback controls. I'm willing to be it will come though - they're very responsive to developing new features when we ask for them.

When will you be doing a live stream?

The slow motion works but sucks that you can’t cue it when you want

It’s coming. Keep in mind that this is essentially just an android device and Yolo have already squeezed about as much out of its processor as they can. I’d expect to see many enhanced features in the upcoming Yolobox Ultra with its faster processor.

Hey there..ok questions. I'm like you in that i am filming girls ringette at the rink, amd I've been trying to figure out the best way to het multiple angles amd scores etc into one stream to the teams Facebook page. I bought the Mevo Start three pack and am using their Multicam app which has a few features like PIP, camera switching, simple overlays etc but its pretty limited and here im Canada it costs $27/mth!
Like you said, in hockey rinks the wifi or cell service is unreliable, so what I've done is bought the Slate Ax portable router thats is tethered to my cell phone so that it basically boosts the cwll hotspot with more range, speed amd strength....works ok, but sometimes the cwll hotspot just slows right down and my stream suffers.
I have one Mevo behind each net and one at center ice on a tripod i control.
I'd love to figure out a better way to do it and be able to use a better quality camera like my little Sony ZV-E10.
So was looking at the yolobox as it can do the same things but better and take the Sony feed....BUT it can't take the Mevos as inputs...so i am not sure what to look at. Someone suggested a laptop with vMix amd use NDI but thats another big expense amd control i have to contend with.
I just don't know. Too many options and not enough people thoroughly explaining it in here.
    Anyway thoughts, ideas or advice?
    Thanks!

I’ve never used the Mevo’s but have extensively used Vmix, OBS and NDI. For simplicity, stability, and speed of setup I prefer the Yolobox. Word is that the new Yolobox Ultra may offer NDI in the future so stay tuned!!

@@CreativeUndergroundisn't the yolobox mini ultra out now? I've seen it on Amazon. Looks like it has 3 HDMI inputs instead of one in the first mini.
So with the yolobox, is it a standalone piece of gear? It can take camera inputs, audio inputs, and stream to platforms right from the box? You don't need WiFi or anything, they can connect to a cell hotspot or is getting a SIM with data better? And it's a strong, stable connection to cellular network? Better than a phone hotspot? It's not really described anywhere that well for someone new to it

@@sibertiger17The Ultra will have 4 inputs and can stream at 4k. The pro has 3 inputs at 1080p60. Both have sim slots, Ethernet ports and WiFi, AND can do network bonding without the need for a separate Slate or other external device!!

@@CreativeUnderground yikes I can't imagine streaming 4k through a cell hotspot!! It couldn't handle it..even 1080 is asking a lot unless somehow the yolo compresses it so much to make it less data intensive...
Is there a way we can discuss how the yolo truly works in the field off TH-cam? Do you have contact info I can find to reach out?
