Happy 100th anniversary to one of the greatest horror movies ever made in the silent film era
I watched this at 12:00 in the afternoon, sun blazing through the window, and it *still* scared the pants off me!
This film is amazing and Max Schreck is terrifying as Count Orlok.
I wish I could find one w/the original score!!! It’s so much creepier!!! Anybody????
A adorable classic vampire.
Vampire Count Orlok expresses interest in a new residence and real estate agent Hutter's wife.
"If that was you in the bus and on the phone, then WHO's flickering the lights?"

Together: *"Nosferatu!"*
Excellent clarity for 1922!
A vintage black and white movie with no sound that puts modern horror productions to shame. True horror makes your blood run cold.
No sound? It has never been shown without some music performed, so that is not really correct, even if the film itself indeed was silent. But SILENT? Nope. Definitely not.
Really good, my only issue is that it’s in black and white.
The film is supposed to have coloured tints to show the times of day, when it’s in black and white you can’t tell when it’s day or night.
He looks very excited to be off to the land of thieves and phantoms 🧛🏻♀️🧛🏼♂️ 🧟♂️
what a classic!
A hundred years old now.
The Laughing Man I love too
A 102 year old movie I will be adding into my collection
I wouldn’t travel tonight with the werewolf roaming the forest (but you can pay for a room in my inn). Plus that’s no werewolf it’s a hyena
Excellent quality of sound and picture. Can anybody tell us who is the author of the added symphonic music?
Sounds like one of Hans Erdmann OST reconstructions. Nice symphonic score although most of the timing is guess work afaik...I recommend to look around for Photoplay/BFI version with James Bernard score which is a tad bit better imho... But still one of the most fun thing about this film is the myriad of existing music accompaniments across every imaginable genre. I think the best anniversary edition would be a release which would gather most of these soundtracks on one Bluray ready to just switch between.
Excellent 👌
"You'll enjoy Count Orlok...and he'll enjoy you." 🦇🐺⚰
Wait. If the young man’s name is Hutter then who is Jonathan?
I, really like Dracula.
