I understand that these videos are not the quickest to produce, but i would really like to see more of these guides again Honestly after watching all of it, i might try ao jungle again, I've always just suffered while playing but this guide really showed some new insights. The only thing I would want you to change in future guides is less emphasis on past workings of the god. That the 3 counted as a basic attack is worth mentioning, but i think talking about how and in whoch way it dictated his playstyle is kinda unnecessary and might confuse a few people. Otherwise, again this is a great guide.
Glad you enjoyed. I feel like "his 3 was a basic attack" wouldn't suffice for a lot of people on why it changed his playstyle so drastically from one change. It's important to understand why your god builds the way they do not just how to build them, and explaining how he worked in the past and why it's now different can help with learning the fundamentals of items not just a set build.
I love these kinds of in depth guides with heavy montage. Most of the time either you get 3 minutes where the videomaker is basically just reading the abilities description or a long ass video with just background gameplay that makes it difficult to focus, especially when mentionning builds or combos. Keep it up 👍

Literally have a video from years ago promoting ao kuang solo. For guides I specifically only list 'long-term viable' roles for the God to not give false info if it immediately falls out of the meta in 2 months which often happens.

U get the execute sign u hit em nd all of a sudden u either eat em,you dont eat nd ur left barenaked lol or u get the excute so ur up in the air but the enemy god u executed isnt dead or if they did die ur teammate got the kill. Oh by the way ive notice that everything ive said usually happens during assault,ive rarely had issues in the other game modes . As for the assualt match i know theirs the healing orbs but ive encountered these issues way before they changed assualt
It feels so bad to not build telkhines on Ao, it's just so much fun to use with his AA chain. I just have to do it lol. Also, I absolutely hate how many ways there are for an enemy to avoid your ult - beads, aegis, med, magi's, any other form of CC immunity like Geb shield... compare that to Thana or Achilles ult.
I actually like the starter item and tiny trinket (tier 1 bancrofts/typhon) and rush bancrofts since like u said u dont auto so much in early and it gives a huge powerspike once finished and then rush demonic (did this when warriors were meta in jungle so i gotta look if i switch this for magus with more assasins now ) and then depending if i am ahead buy typhons if not hecate after hecate the qins ring (i forgot its name rn ) but the one which does extra damage per auto and last item is nearly always a tahuti just for the 25 % more dmg on low targets so usealy a 2 3 is enough to put them in ult range and last finish starter item and if the game goes long enough you can replace bancrofts for typhons
When i play Ao, the entire team gets beads 1st item and gets magis at some point, groups up, builds magical defense and wards. When the ENEMY plays Ao im the only one to get beads, no one but me wards and ppl always run off alone to get literally eaten bc no defense then whine when hes fed
wish smite would add more gods meant for roles other than their assigned class like ao kuang. I know there are a few already like cabra and olorun but i wish it were more like league
Wait a second. His AoE does not proc hit effect anymore but the Dragon it shots out should does it ? I mean it wont ptoc Polynomicon sure but the other proc items still work right ? So the only thing that changed is that Poly does not proc anymore but you get the Dragon dmg instead. I dont really call that a nerf then.
It's no longer a basic attack, does not proc any basic attack item effects. They custom coded it to still work with his dragons after they changed it to not be a basic attack anymore.
Poly on AK isn’t the same as hydras on kali lol the reason for not going hydras on kali is cause her auto chain doesn’t work with it same as going crit on her, her autos are usually less than 100% on her chain idk exactly what it is but that’s the reason you don’t buff her autos cause you don’t get much out of it. Poly on ak is better than hydras on kali because of how often you use abilities in between autos it adds a ton of burst though I typically don’t build it..
Kali's attack chain is 1/0.5/0.5, you're mistaken there. Also you only get one proc of poly per target when you actually think about it as Ao since you do 2 into 3 then start basic attacking, finish with Ult. It is a similar concept as Hydra's and I dislike it for the same reason. I never said they functioned identically. It's just a metaphor to explain my thoughts on Ao with poly

Also can’t you get poly procs off of the reuse of ao’s stealth and his dragons? You stealth auto proc dragons auto a few times maybe use the cone auto and dump the dragons on them and auto. Not specifically in that order it’s been a while since I played ao but I’m pretty sure you can proc Polly off of the reuse of both of those abilities making it have a lot more value than the average god. Could be wrong though. As I said I usually don’t use poly on him anyway I was just making the case that it can be good on him whereas hydras on kali just isn’t the move

In practice you'll just die a lot of the time trying to do that. You literally need to shred them in seconds or have a plan to get out before everyone dunks on you. Also no, Poly only procs once per ability, doesn't matter if you refire it or have multiple casts.
Don’t bother with mana potions at the start of the game, I see so many noobs doing this, you literally have bumbas dagger it’s infinite mana, get a hog to fast clear the back camps when your first ability is on cooldown, no point getting 3 healing pots too when you’ll likely back before using the last one, which could be the difference between a t2 item or not (or a t3 magus)
Thats true but youre also just as likely to be saved by a pot especially early, i always start with 2 hp 1 multi pot and i still almost always beat enemy jung to side camps plus i force backs and sometimes kill the enemy jung because im healing 15hp a second and taking a big ass chunk out of their overall damage. Plus, if you did need a little more gold for a t2 you can sell unused pots for 33

Pls don’t get 5 pots on ao especially wen you start with bumbas get 3 pots and a hog than you can start with your 3 and hog the speed or start with your 2 an hog the back camps. Get 3 pots I would prefer health but you can get Multis if you think you need the extra mana. With this start you are much faster in mid. Otherwise good video and pls more in depth god guides.

Aos lifesteal is wild on his 2. You heal SO SO SO much since it doesn't have the aoe modifier that most mage abilities do
