Manaweblife found another fascinating favourite delicacy in the small town of Jenjarom. This video takes you into Kampung Bahagia, to a home grown production line of various of peanut snacks. This facility is owned by Mr Tan who has been doing this since 1984 ( 33 years ) and now helped by his daughter and son. He worked for a Singapore biscuit manufacturer, then became a distributor and now a producer of his own brand ( Heritaste ) and as a manufacturer for other brands too. The products that come out from here are all hand made. These include the crispy and crunchy Kacang Tumbuk punched peanuts and Kacang Pipang. The Kacang Tumbuk are favourites since the imperial days in China. It is called "kong thong”, which means "sweet present" and was specially meant for to the rulers of the time. This video shows how the peanut snacks are made and packed as “Heritaste”, proud hand made products of Jenjarom. Want to try some ? Dia orang mungkin kurang hygienic tapi, no lemak babi. Coz, it is expensive and smelly.

The working table should be stainless steel to prevent bacteria. Wooden plank as working table is unhygienic.

It looks good but not so hygiene. 1st they’re not cover their hair and wear gloves, second they don’t wear safety shoes (they just wearing slippers), 3rd their working place not clean and I appreciate if they clean everything especially the floor. It looks dirty and i don’t think i will buy this from this brand after all.

.... They forgot that before handling any food, face mask, hand gloves and hair net are the most important basic part of food processing... Not up to the professional standard at all... The boss are just as unhygienic as well.!
