What's up guys! In today's video I show multiple ways to instantly improve on controller/console in Fortnite chapter 3. Some of these tips involve your controller, your thumb sticks, deadzone, optimal binds, best controller settings, and playing paddles or claw. Also, if you want to improve fast you need to make sure that you're using the best settings and sensitivity for controller/console in fortnite. Great content. Right into the tips and they are solid. Im 41 and made the switch to a fusion pro 3. Took about a week but man do buttons/paddles make a difference. I still can't fight as well as I could but my non ads fighting has improved a ton.

It’s really refreshing.. seeing a pc controller player because I play as well with controller on pc.. when you showed your controller I smashed that sub button cuz I use the dyi kit of extremerate with the clicky triggers and it’s really great ) also have overclocked the controller ( you should definitely look that up ) I hope you will do more of these vids because I am actually getting stuck at my level right now and don’t really know we’re to start with really.. I’m not bad but I just wanna pop those smooth edits off and make smart plays with buildings.. ( like build immediatly after shooting ) and make it a habit.. also making TH-cam Fortnite content is what I really like to do and wanna be a nice value for my subs to show them great gameplay.. take it easy man ♥️

I swear it’s so hard to go to a paddle or claw after all of these years. I recently got that dual edge ps controller and I tried the back paddles switching my x and o to the back. It’s a bit tough, how would you recommend I configure the buttons?

what binds should I have for building because I have the og ones with right dpad as edit

Even though i switched from controller to kbm ,I started playing tournaments like open cash cups and hype cups and when I tell you the first one i played ,it went soo bad 😭 but yesterday I played with my new duo and I was the IGL and we popped off in the first game ,when i say popped off I mean we got the most points we've ever gotten 😭 and I play build fights to just practice . I'm quite decent for someone on 120-130 ping ,maybe you can decide
The claw/paddle one is extremely correct the only bad thing about it is that I’m not used to using my right middle finger to shoot and switch through my guns, I know that’s meant to happen and I’ll get better but would it work if I switched my triangle square x and circle buttons from my d pad? It’ll be the same except the d pad would be the one used to reload and that.
Hey there is no wrong way. If you feel comfortable how you hold your controller and how you map your buttons then that's all that matters. You could always try how they suggest and compare that to your way and find the balance.
Yeah and the main problem I notice with switcjhing is how weak your middle finger will be so you might want to start training yourself to become stronger and stronger with ur middle finger
I had the same issue so I use my paddle for something else that is useful instead

Naw you dont need paddles or claw if you have good controller binds. Example. I jump eith L1.. so i still dont have to take my finger off of right stick. I also place cone with right stick so all i gotta do is press it while im building.

Due to the fact that you provided excellent tips and advice, I have subscribed and liked the video. I'm older than you and have experienced a lot in life, and you being a young man you did a great job with the information you provided in this video. I just got on the PC venue, and I hated how I started. I was playing bots and low skilled players, which I hate because I can't get better this way. When you mentioned this, it was 100% spot on. You also mentioned don't be afraid to die, again great advice because you tend to react last in a fight due to that mindset. I always tell people to welcome failure because that creates the perfect experience for you to learn, and due to this you will become better, and learn how to overcome adversity. Experience is the best teacher in life. Keep up the great work and thanks for the tips on improving. Take care.

Here’s the thing, I’ve been playing without paddles or claw since fortnite came out but i’m still insanely good at the game, im in champ division with approaching 10k points. Yes, it’s harder to reset builds faster but sometimes resetting fast isn’t rly something i need too much (i don’t double reset floor come combo much for example). You think it’s still worth trying to switch to claw?
Probably try and switch to paddles and claws and get used to it during the time you are practicing don’t play competitive gamemodes like arena or late game arena until you start to get used to it
Me too I'm playing with none claw or paddles but I'm getting better+claw can actually hurt your finger wrists it's good to improve at something but at the end it if it makes you instantly regret would you do it still that's where they say

I play controller and play with my friends. They are all really good and I’m just really behind. It makes me feel left out sometimes cause I’m always dead first in zone wars
today i was playing a pvp wuth my friend, we built houses opposite eachother and when the game started i boxed my friend in 0.4.55 seconds and filled up the whole area around the box in about 19 seconds
im starting to get better at my triple edits but when i try to edit the wall i accidentally edit the cone and it mess up my edits

i have a little question because there is problem i have been going through with editting .. When i click my edit button the map edit thing takes long to respond and idk why so like if i try to shoot and place a wall quickly it takes super long to put down a wall for protection

Should we use edit on release?
well, heres the thing if you don’t use edit on release then i would do claw or paddles because you have more buttons which makes it easier. But if you are a basic player (no claw no paddles) Then i would recommend using confirm edit on release. I have been using a basic controller and edit on release and have improved a whole tone by practicing everyday.

i really appreciate you made that aim training map, but I'm finding it super glitchy...doesn't give me a gun on 1 of the trainers, didn't read what the rooms were another time...really useful, when it works though...is there an updated aim trainer by chance?
I appreciate the feedback. I have since fixed all the bugs/issues in the aim trainer, but for some reason Epic won't allow me to update the map to the new version, so it's still stuck on the old glitchy one. Sorry about this bro. Hopefully soon it will be all fixed

im practicing quad edits so you think i just practice quad edits until i perfect it edit: i just use half claw to use the jump and other stuff cause i have triangle to build O to sprint and square and X are the default and i have gotten used to this so im used to it and i can do everything easily

Depends. Gyro is hard and inconsistent. If you master gyro you're way too good.
