When I discovered Thundermother and started listening to different songs from different releases (and watching vids) it became clear right away that one vocalist outshined the others, and had the most unique, the best sultry and soulful voice. After a bit I could immediately pick out Clare's vocals, as I later discovered were on both #1 and #2 (I think #1 is best, loving Thunderous and Shoot to Kill!). There isn't much in-depth info on the history of the band on their site or Wikipedia - I discovered, as I thought, that the whole band (except Filippa) was new as of about 2022, cycling through multiple drummers, bassists, and 3 vocalists. So I just knew Clare hadn't just opened a sandwich shop, not with that voice. Oh, how nice to find this. I anticipate learning everything she releases, what a great vocalist.
