If I just wanted to have a guide to something I record, could I record myself and run that video through VideoToPage and would I get something similar to what you showed? (I don't know the animated gifs well) On the other hand, do you know if he takes another language well, for example Spanish?
If you only care about the articles, yes VideoToPage should be able to do that! No animated gifs, only static screenshots. Kroto doesn't support any other languages right now, but it's on their roadmap. VideoToPage supports many languages.

Yes, I agree -- I actually compare it to Layerpath at the end of the video. It is more simple, which will work well for most people.

Not really similar! Screen Studio can record your webcam and doesn't create articles. It also has much more detailed editing features.
