Here are a couple of quick videos that show these two instruments: 1) Girl playing a banjo th-cam.com/video/fnMhUPewk6c/w-d-xo.html 2) Jerry Garcia practicing back stage at the Filmore with the New Riders th-cam.com/video/_SDWjfsy-GA/w-d-xo.htmlsi=u-v3GwmXKO6Bg_w0&t=3615
I agree with you that "Country" isn't my thing, I've never been to a pure Country concert, but every kind of music has something good about it. Because it's music man. And POCO kind of knocks down some walls while getting under your skin, in a good way. A little more edgy than pure Country. Thanks Sam, another great selection.
There are lots of music genres that I really like such as Ambient/Space and electronic but would not be good for reactions. A friend of mine, Steve Roach is the world's best at that kind of sound world.
@@samblethen I saw the band Lake Trout open for Oysterhead, and I would call them "Ambient", and maybe even the band Leftover Salmon, who I also saw one time, but not as much Ambient.
@@bobschenkel7921 Nice stuff for sure. I'll revisit them too. Over the years Steve Roach has given me tons of prerelease and unreleased material. He's done a number of collaborations including Robert Fripp and Michael Shrieve. Steve is also a didgeridoo virtuoso and does tribal/ambient as well. www.youtube.com/@SteveRoachOfficial/videos
@@samblethen Love me some Robert Fripp, saw him twice with The California Guitar Trio, and once with his main band, King Crimson, in 2017. Saw Santana with Jeff Beck back in 1995, not sure if Michael Shrieve was still in the group, i don't remember the introductions.
Rusty played both here. The banjo and steel guitar are different instruments, but both are played with three finger picking. Thanks!

You're welcome. Traditional country music is not my thing either!
