That was a great move getting Bellinger and fits like a glove. They still need a proven lefty swinging middle infielder to stabilize that lineup.

Super excited to see Belli take full advantage of the short porch in RF in Yankee Stadium

Add 10 more HR’s. (36)He has Judge behind him, Judge had a lot to do with Soto’s 41

It's good when a player wants to play for the Yankees, he going to be better than good 👍🏼

The Yankees struck gold? Look, I like both of these moves. But lets wait to see what they do on the field, shall we? Both of these signings could easily go south.

The Yankees are gonna be Sooooo much better this year, yeah we don't have Judge Soto scary combo.....
But Goldy, Dominguez and Bellenger, +If we get Ha Sung Kim or similar.... Add Wayy better base running, batter pitching and bullpen, and wayyyy better defense.
We COULD score more runs because of base running, and prevent 1-2 more runs per game? Yeah that might be 105+ wins🤔🤔

      that's the best case scenario!

The Yankees were an under .500 club after mid-June. And that was with Soto. If everyone stays healthy this should NOT be a team that plays that poorly for that long.

Get Correa to play third. Need a complete ballplayer like him. Enough with the Dodgers and their sissy little dance. They need to win with Judge and Cole NOW.

I think he is gonna have a big year he had no protection in Chicago that was the main guy . And Cody is not the main guy on a team

I feel like we're one infielder away from a very good offsesson. Like an 8/10 or 8.5/10 even. I reserve a higher score fornsuperstar acquisitions.

Would I take Bellenger, Dominguez, and Goldy vs Soto, Torres, and Verdugo??
Possibly yes! Wayy better defense and base running and maybe a few less runs scored but maybe NOT??
AND THAT'S WITHOUT SEEING WHAT WE DO WITH 3rd Base🤔🤔

Absolutely not, Soto was the best player on the yanks last year. He was an mvp candidate last. Cody is overrated

Cody is overrated😂 you are smoking crack. He can run, field, and hit. Soto can only do one of these things. L take

Solid report. Deep diving stats is interesting. I just look at games played, BA, HR, RBI, OBP & OPS. There are a lot of factors effecting a player/team's dynamics that can lead to paralysis by analysis. Belli will def hit bombs for 81 games, no doubt & NY made defensive upgrades where it counts: 1B 2B RF LF (or CF) & *pitching*

  • @robertcropley7714

Stanton looked better this past season than he did in the past few years overall but particularly in terms of his physique IMO and his presence in the lineup was beneficial to one extent or another semingly prior to the injury he experienced. The injury appeared to be a somewhat random thing and not something that would have been foreseeable or expected in nature. His production in the playoffs was a very valuable contribution but he had a history of showing up in the playoffs offensively during his time here.

I'm not too aware of who's available these days but give me a lefty swinging 3B (Jazz to 2B), a LH reliever or two (plus Kahnle) and I'm good to go. Oh, and a certain Japanese live arm who I think is headed to the Bronx, not LA. Then...bring it on.

Still can’t stand all the number stalk you guys do and then still speak about a handful of plays for Dominguez in a position he’s never played.
    I don’t get it 🤦🏻
You’re using sucha small sample size to hammer down “oh I don’t think he’ll be gold glover”. He’s been a fine defender in minors.
And his debut , albeit 7 games, he played CF (natural position) more than fine. And last year he only had 1 error.
Enough with the BS negative defender stuff. It was LF. Where he doesn’t play. He’s also just 21 with total of 87 ABs. So very little exposure. Let’s stop the nonsense of he’s bad defensively based on few plays. Jesus Christ.

    My hot takes:
    - Keep Verdugo in left, Dominguez is a horrible defender while Verdugo is a great one. We some some better at bats from Verdugo in the post so maybe he starts hitting well.
    - Grisham as a full time center. Move Judge to right, therefore no Cody Bellinger. Grisham has the pop, is probably the best center fielder defensively in the sport right now, and I just get a good vibe from him. I think he will break out and get that average back up. If he can do that, he is easily an 25+ hr a season hitter.
