I heard someone say that it almost seemed like Amber was trying to get Johnny to hit her, as a form of blackmail to keep him around, and when it didn't work she lied about it anyways. Such an abusive way of seeking power

the video where she secretly video tapes him confirms that type of attitude in my opinion. its not evidence against john, its evidence against amber. like john sais stuff like "you are fine, i did not touch you" because he knows that she is trying to frame him already. dont know how else you could interpret that.

Her fake AF " stone face" that she's had during most of this trial ( other than smirking and fake about to cry) is gonna falter so hard when Johnny's team has the audacity to ask her questions just like in the first deposition. She's far to self important to not feel like she's above the ppl asking her questions and to feel like they are attacking her for even questioning her words.

The fact that cameras were allowed in court was a huge blow to Amber. Without them, even if things didn’t go her away, she could brush it under the rug and say it was society and the court unfairly backing an abuser. Pushing for cameras was the best thing Johnny could have done. This way, we get to hear and see all of the evidence, the allegations, and Amber’s disgusting bullying in court.

This is Even more true after watching what went down after the trial. All the main stream media put out her spew…. As a survivor, A trained and licensed therapist has never told me to stand up to my abuser or to stop enabling him. They told me to protect myself and find the safest way for me to manage until I could leave. If her therapist allegedly told her to stand up to him, they don’t need to practice anymore. They could have put her life in danger if what she was saying about the abuse wasn’t absolutely bull shit. That’s so upsetting to me like why?…

CORRECT. Therapists don't actually give any kind of advice, they let you talk and sometimes suggest things to you in a way but to make it sound like advice, but help you come to a conclusion yourself with what to do, but they would NEVER tell you to stand your ground and be tough to your abuser, what a stupid thing to do, yeah just aggregate the abuser all the more right. 🙄 This is the dumbest thing I've heard. I've been in councilling for years for SA and DV and I've never been given any actual advice about how to deal with my feelings, just gentle suggestions. Amber's lawyer describing how "long" the list of medications Jonnie takes, as if it indication to him being a violent and abusive person, is absolutely vile. In fact, the whole narrative of him being a bad person because he has a substance issues- he admits it and works to better himself! Sure he was high all the time but he was so sweet and so loving always thinking about my wellbeing and feelings even when he was dealing with a bad high. sadly he passed away in a car accident after he had gotten clean. people who falsely accuse like amber should get worse punishment/sentencing than what would originally be inflicted. because i agree it does ruin credibility especially when it’s harder for men to come forward about domestic abuse because people just see it as “oh how would a woman ever be able to overpower a man in that way” and it’s just not seen as commonly. it is truly truly sad that amber is doing this and it will be even worse if she wins because it sends a message out to other men going through abuse that they can’t win and that they can’t speak out without any consequences.

I firmly believe the “evidence” that Amber recorded of Johnny being “abusive” was only recorded when Johnny snapped after the prolonged periods of Amber abusing/ taunting Johnny and trying to get him to retaliate.
I’ve been on the receiving end of a relationship like this. You end up snapping because you just want to be left alone and then they record it and use it against you to discredit you and call you abusive.
I cannot believe that some people can’t see this and just blindly believe Amber who is spitting in the face of actual bad bitches that have escaped abuse.

But each time it's Deeps or any of the outside forces provide evidence, She comes off as agressive, blunt, loud, and demanding. Hell that video where he's slamming the cabinets as soon as he catches the phones and throws it that "Shy, meek" version of herself goes out the window and she's upset and laughing, cause she knows what is she doing

It’s not? You teach a horse to be comfortable around people, comfortable with different types of ground under their hooves, not view other animals as threats, how to walk with a lead, and more through patient and timely exposure. I’ve seen the process take over a year with many horses cause they needed more time to adjust and the owners were ready to accommodate. If it was abusive it’d be more rushed and brutal.
Yea there’s abusive owners but the practice itself, when done the common and accepted way, is not abusive. Abusing a horse during the training process (the word breaking is misleading and not used by everyone) is also plain counterproductive. It teaches the young horse to fear what you want them to be happy and comfortable around.
You sound like the folks who say all farming is abuse or sheering is equivalent to murder.

When someone says breaking, I know what method they're using. A person that genuinely cares for their horse's mental well-being doesn't "break", they "start". My own horses were started via the most common method of breaking, and they had to be essentially completely restarted due to the anxiety they had under saddle.

I remembered all the times my papa said he didn't have any money because he needed to pay attorney fees (he just finished repaying them a decade later) to be able to keep us in his life. For about 9 months when I was 12-13, my mother did succeed in keeping us away from him by lying to us and portraying him as a horrible person. I learned this year that during that time, papa thought a lot of ending it, but didn't act on it because he still had hope to see us again. I'm sooooo glad he didn't!
I havn't spoken to the viper in a year and a half, and I seriously couldn't care less if she got mauled to death by rabid raccoons or something. I'd probably laugh. I tell papa all the time how much I love him and how grateful I am for him.
Amber's little game has come to an end, just like the viper's has. Johnny will get justice, he will get peace of mind, just like my papa has. ✊️💜

Hearing that breaking the horses for Amber meant showing no fear or hurt or anything is literally sickening. I grew up in horse rescue. Green horses aren't broken by showing you're above them. It's a bond built by mutual respect between the animal and you. It's working together and being afraid of each other until you can trust each other. I've been riding horses for almost 19 years now. I know that the horse is more afraid of you then you are of it. I've seen horses so beaten down by humanity that they literally give up, and I've helped them. You don't break a horse by hurting it.

Breaking horses is absolutely heartbreaking to watch for anyone who loves animals. In order to "break" a horse that's wild you literally have to break their spirit and hobble them enough that they have to rely on you and build a bond with you in order to build themselves back up. It's not cute or pretty, it was practice for what she's done to everyone in her life.

@@ghoulishtoad somewhat. Horses are prey animals, while dogs and cats are predators. The psychological functions of a prey animal are extremely different. Predator animals like dogs and cats develop a bond differently than prey. Dogs and cats can enjoy your company, and you train them through reward and reprimation. Horses generally tolerate human presence and are trained through pressure and release.
You can have a strong bond with a horse obviously, but we need to be careful when comparing horses to other animals.
Horses can be loyal as well and I've seen some friends whose horses will kick another horse if they're in danger, but this is not really a rule and there are plenty of horses that simply do not care. They are prey animals and they have an ingrained sense of alertness.

I think it’s also highly unlikely that Johnny Depp suddenly started to become a physically and sexually abusive partner after so many years (decades) when he’s been in relationships and friendships and not a single person says he’s done anything like this. I like the weird, abstract, unusual roles he does and he seems like an amazing person. He's number one the person I'd love to meet if I ever had the chance. With everything he's gone through he has remained the best person he could be despite everything coming against him from abuse by his mother, drug addiction, and Amber's sickening allegations. I truly hope he wins but I'm worried about the technicality of his name not being mentioned in the op-ed, even though we all know it, technically it doesn't say Johnny. But I hope the jury sees through all of Amber's BS and even though I'm sure it's been so uncomfortable exposing this in front of the world I'm grateful he gets to be heard because most people are realizing he's been telling the truth and Amber is a disgusting pathetic excuse for a human.

Ambers story of being slapped three times for laughing at a random joke and sitting in the cold in her car all reads like a fucking amateur novelists idea of what a battered woman would go through . I’m sure she told her attorney the whole melodramatic script. This woman is actually. Actually evil

Ikr? It's the downfall of a Hollywood narcissist, no matter how good at acting they are, their stories are always romanticized and beautified, since they can't think of themselves in ugly scenarios, their ugly experiences are always like a movie scene of a main character, and it shows when they're lying.

anyone else notice that Ambers lawyer during her testimony, sounded like she was telling a story and not an actually event that happened. while Johnny’s lawyer actually said his testimony professionally
edit: i forgot to add that Johnny’s lawyer also kept a straight, calm, collected face while Amber’s lawyer was very ‘emotional’ (for lack of better word) about the testimony

Her lawyers claim that she was treating Jonny Depp like a horse that was being "broken" is very strange - like, that's basically the process of beating a horse into submission to humans, so what is she trying to say that Amber was basically trying to assert her dominance over Johnny and turn him into a work animal for her? very weird.

There's horse "breaking" and there's horse "starting." Sometimes this is horribly abusive, sometimes not at all. (The lawyer obviously knows exactly nothing about this either way.) I'd be very interested to know what kind of trainer Amber's father was - and, even more, what kind of trainer SHE was.
