  • The stones were hand made by myself and the video shows how to embed them on the wall top. I have made videos of how to make the stones a few months back, scroll down on my channel if you want to see it.

Thanks for the video on pulleys. I am now about to test this in the attic. Plenty of record boxes to elevate!

I made those myself as small as I could including a 5; cm overlap each side, my wal is 35 cm thick so that makes for the the large size stones. Good luck with your jop.

@@felixbrunner5707 Awesome, we'll just be trying to source the smallest locally. Take it you need a drip grove either side to help shed rain?

Ideally yes, I did desist as it's an old wall with many stones sill intact and 150 years ago they did not use them when they built the wall
The main reason for them is that water does not enter at the top of the wall as it would wash out the bricks in a couple of decades of you leave them exposed at the top.

Good job. I need to relay the loose caps on my garden wall. I am wondering do I need to use a building line, or will a long straight edge do?.

No drip groove, no flashing and no setting pins. I will have to say na on this one.

These are a replacement for sand stone coping stones and are layed in-between , so no dripping groove just lay them as the once 180 years ago were layed . This wall will be listed in future years .

Poor!! no primer, when filling end joint it will smudge and leave a stain, put mortar on first then tidy it when dryer
