I grew up as a kid watching Freddie Spencer race. In my opinion he is the greatest bike racer of all time.

Listening to Spencer talk about all those races from my childhood...positively mesmerizing! And hearing him breakdown the intricacies of riding at his level is beyond amazing.... he has been a hero of mine since I can remember. I could listen to him talk about those races and riding for hours.

Just like the John Mc one this was brilliant.Often buy magazine even though I am reading about machines I could never afford and characters I have never met or will indeed ever meet but the writing is so good I will happily suffer that.
As for Freddie a great fella who I did get to meet at Goodwood one year a really nice fella and a gentleman to offer to have his name removed from the list.I agree with Matt I would not want to be the one to have to remove any of those names. I actually agree with him and Freddie on Mr Honda and a close second in Erv. Having said that i am a keen fan of Joey and Mike . Good luck and looking forward to next months pod cast.
