I love Jeff he's such a nice guy. I've gotten a few cameos from him. Thanks for doing this interview it was really nice to learn all this stuff about him. What a legend.
@LuccianoNova you can sit there and think that, but it seems like you've never interviewed. As an interviewer, you try to ask new and fresh questions. Sure, I do slightly agree that making him say those slang (kinda cringe), but that's what a lot of people wanted..
26:14 I don't know what I find more heartwarming - these two young dudes' genuine admiration for a man older than their combined age, or Jeff's appreciation and humility for what Halo fans mean to him.
Never heard of this podcast, seen a clip on TikTok and came instantly to listen to this legend. Brings back so many memories, I was always PlayStation only - growing up. I remember with my bestfriend in year 5, we used to play soon as school finished at his place on his Xbox on Friday stay up all night Saturday and Sunday and I would go home Sunday and sleep all day until school Monday. Hahahaha Sadly I’m not friends with those 2 boys now, but this brought back so many memories
I added Jeff back in 2013 on Facebook and didn’t expect him to add me back. But he actually did! Such a class act dude. Says happy birthday to me every year lol
26:20 What a great guy. I wish more famous people thought this way. Everyone wants to be bigger than the past but to be part of anything impactful is a privilege. This guys is dope. His response really reminds me of my father.
For me, when I think of the halo announcer, I have two distinct memories that come to mind. One is playing coop campaign splitscreen with my friend and we’d constantly try to kill each other unexpectedly, and when we did, you’d hear “Betrayal, Betrayed” come out of the TV. The second memory is grinding XP in grifball on Halo Reach, and when you’d spawn trap the other team, you’d just hear the multi kill medals rack up all the way to Killionaire. Same goes for spawn trapping on Big Team Battle with the scorpion tank. I had so much fun with halo and cod back in those golden years of FPS.
I don’t know why but when he was saying the lines and said “gained the lead” put a huge smile on my face sooo many memories came rushing back halo was definitely my favorite shooter/military game growing up
I saw Jeff say the phrase “Mommy Milkers” from a cameo video in a TH-cam short and it is now my Discord sound board entrance sound for 90% of the servers I’m in. It gets a laugh every time.
Jeff you the man unfrikenbelievable still to this day gives me chills I’m 30 years old. Just had a kid best believe he will be reliving this. You are a legend man
One of the few voices people would really listen to and what did his message really boil down to? Enjoy what you enjoy and be kind to each other irl Also the roast was hilarious 😂
Around 43:35, that really did happen. Rockstar hired people to do a Christian protest outside their studio as a promo for the game. That is very much true and is one of the more successful promo stunts that was done by gaming studios
Dude is great. I love his stuff. I'm surprised he still interacts with Marty after he went off the deep end though. For the show itself, audio level is all over the place at times. It's a bit jarring at times
@@chris14151 Marty did the same thing Notch did. Left his parent company that was his life, and went radically into the rightist pipeline. I think he's even antivax now? The whole 9 yards. He even had a very brief presidential run as a Republican.
@ByronButler-v3p 4:20 -4:32 Asks him to say Battle Royale in the announcer voice. I can die happily knowing that I got to hear the voice actor say 'gayt"
Honestly its pretty cringe. These guys asked him the worst questions.

10000% such a down to earth guy.
WHERE ARE THE VIEWS FOR THIS LEGEND of are childhood iconic American voice
That part where he did as many lines as possible in 30 seconds made me cry. Wow.
The phrase was probably like “kys” or something lol this man is a national treasure

Ha! I did that as well, and he posted happy birthday on my wall one year!

Awesome to know one of the most iconic voices in gaming is also a chill & genuine dude! He needs to be a GPS voice lol great interview 👌🏻
This interview deserves +100k views. Well done.
Jeff Steitzer is an absolute treasure!
“Perfection… game over”
sometimes those voicelines would overlap nd ruin it :((
@@gandalfnooo2743 I always thought that’s what made it so iconic!
His voice 😩 take me back to 2007
“We want someone who sounds like the halo announcer, can you do that?” *Sends them the halo 1 disk*
underrated interview
His voice is Iconic. He needs to be in every Halo game.

I used to play halo 1 on the original Xbox with a half dozen or more friends everyday after school one school year. It was awesome. Thanks Jeff!
Algorithm crew reporting for duty!
At ease soldier.
I started playing halo multiplayer when reach came out yes I know reach is not super og but still Born in 2004 played halo 3 campaign with my brother
Love Jeff so much. I wish he'd do these lines like he did in H2/H3/Reach. I guess he's just used to doing it like 343 asked him to start doing.
I met Jeff at NYCC in 2023. He’s one of the coolest and nicest people ever

The gyatt lines are truly hilarious.
This was amazing. Made my night
I'd love to hear Jeff read The Fall Of Reach or The Flood, maybe Silent Storm.
Awesome interview
I love him as much as his voice
Certified legend.
I thought steve downstairs did the multiplayer voice lines too

Nice! Keep up the work! Came from fb from br gaming ad.
My gf got a cameo by him for my birthday and he said my cats name and MICHELADA I could never be happier
What a great guy.
Great Jeff Steitzer interview! 🔥
Awesome dude
One time I heard him say "Quigley", it was the bes day of my life. I'm a father.
Hard disagree on halo having a BR. Last thing we need from halo is an uninspired overdone gamemode
Give me a halo extraction shooter with a base building component
Legendary

jeff really is the Goat
Jeff is awesome
he was also aliens vs predator 2 general rykov!
Bungie *was* Halo. Nuff said. But I love this dude!
My normal voice is Master Chief
Was this in Colombus after Torg? He's wearing the same shirt as he was when I met him there
I love that Jeff is still so down to talk about Halo.
Why not mention his full name in the description?
38:50
He kinda sounds like George Noory from coast to coast am. If anyone knows who that is..
49:42 why does his hand disappear??
17:33 need this modded into halo plz 🙏🏼
Who's the interviewer on the fight? I'm certain I know him. Gotta find that cellphone number.
Yes😂
is this on spotify?
Does it matter? No…
Dumb question
Some people can download on spotify, that’s probably the reason they are asking
