The lullaby skip goes back even further. I found the first (rather inefficient) method in 2006, which I later improved to the one used in Swordless Link's TAS. The vids are still on my channel, though the encoding quality is...rough.
Also, sword slashes preventing you from falling off ledges is an intended game mechanic. It's this mechanic that when combined with ISG allows the hover glitch, but strange for it to be banned entirely in "glitchless".
that makes way more sense that you were involved in that original TAS, i had no idea it ran back even further. glitchless rules are a little bit weird, but it was found that slashing when the wind blows places you off the ground hence it being considered “hovering”. iirc it was functionally equivalent to something else that was already banned. thank you for your comment!
Kinda makes you wonder how that giant invisible Goron feels that he’s murdered other Gorons for no reason other than he likes to blow
Probably was under a spell. If you visit the temple after beating it, you can find him and he says he doesn't remember anything. He also doesn't appear to be aware that Darmani died, implying that he was the cause of his death.
No (tinkle) Diddy
I love that literally any video about majoras mask and OOT reference ZFG at least once lmao
what if instead of snowhead, it was freakhead?? and instead of a huge goron blowing you off the map, a huge freak blew your willy?? food for thought.
This is an unexpected comment to see pinned but it does make one think.
Seeing clips from SwordlessLink, TheHumanProtractor and HyrulianKnight gave me an absolute WHIRLWIND of nostalgia
And swordless link uploads content again which is nice

7:05 I thought I must have been imagining it because I was sure I remembered my brother and I getting into snowhead with only the Goron mask. Not easily, mind you. And not for speedrunning starts either, we were both just very stupid.
We spent countless hours trying and failing without ever realizing there was a way to put the Goron to sleep. Learn to read, kids! 🙃
Love how active you’ve been since 2023, keep it up brother
I love these videos, keep em coming :D.
3:11 This isn't true. if you void out close enough to the fairy fountain, then you will spawn at the fairy fountain even on NTSC.
oh that’s interesting, i guess it doesn’t come up much because the wind will blow you too far most of the time.
@@JakeZSR Yeah you basically have to fall and void out at the right time so the wind doesn't blow you too far.
I didn't know using the Goron roll wasn't the intended way to do this part of the game. I was doing it that way ever since I played this as a kid.

'S No Head Temple?
I prefer 'S Lotta Head Temple
I'll be seeing myself out now
Fwiw Druck did do goron roll lullaby skip in glitchless low%, he's the only one I know of that's done it in a run context (so far)
oh that’s sick i had no idea, druck is goated
Snowhead being mirrored in the thumbnail makes it look very odd
6:11 Huh? I have several questions about this tbh.
Yeah that's not a ruling I agree with either. Stuff like that is the reason I'm not a big fan of glitchless categories.
I wish I could use lullaby skip for casual play throughs. That baby is so freakin annoying.

Liked and subscribed. Just think of how to explain these insane tricks to us simpletons.
Why do a lot of speedrunners sound the same
speedrunners is a phenotype
I am going to look for earlier footage of the trick being used in runs to make your video seem incomplete. This is because I am the villain.
Snowhead Hess was one of the first tricks I learned. I sat down an entire Saturday afternoon, until I got it only 3 times even with pause buffering. 😂 To this day I can do it probably 50% if the time.
I feel like the title should be "most brutal trick", not glitch. the trick may exploit a glitch, but I kinda came in expecting to hear about something that happens unexpectedly to players and ruins their game
first
(that was a lie but heart this anyways :D)
Dude have you thought of trying to get a deal with audible? You've got a really great voice for audio books
