Great job Woody. You need to get a pair of "marriage savers" (wireless (often Motorcycle) headsets) for jobs like that! Darry is getting really talented with the music soundtracks. I found myself tapping my foot on each one.
Thank you for this! I have SM #50 (1991) and I’ll be doing a service on my bow thruster soon. Can you tell me what’s the black goop you’re using? Is it grease or more of a sealant?
It depends what part it is. On the whole Amel are still pretty good at supplying many parts for the SM’s. Some parts like the furlers however were made by a subcontractor and are now discontinued.
well done video, great, Thanks

Do you mean the antifoul? I sealed the joints with sikaflex first then coated antifoul over the whole thing afterwards.. it was a bit gloopy!
I guess it’s the Sikaflex. Came out of a tube. Thanks for the reply!
@@MothershipMaintenance I think he meant the marine grease?
Love these mainteance vlogs , is it hard to get Amel parts with your boat being ....well not as young as some of the newer Amels ? ....Keep it up .

I change the oil and inspect them every year and so far they've been working fine. Do you know the specs of the bearings Antonio?
