FILM DESCRIPTION:
Directed by Paul W.S. Anderson, Alien vs. Predator follows billionaire Charles Bishop Weyland (Lance Henriksen) and his team of drillers, scientists, and archaeologists, to an obscure pyramid site in Antarctica. Among the icy ruins, allegedly, lies the proof of an empire predating humankind. Once there, however, the group finds more than ancient sarcophaguses and hieroglyphics; rather, their discovery consists of dismembered human skeletons and fossilized remains of the alien creatures that appear to have violently burst out of their chests. Even more horrifying is the evidence suggesting that the aliens may still exist. Indeed, there are aliens below the pyramids, but an equal threat looms above: three Predators, all on the verge of manhood, are engaged in a gruesome rite of passage -- every hundred years, young Predators must travel to Earth and take on a hunting ritual in order to complete the transition to adulthood or die in the process. Before long, the humans find themselves battling for their own lives as the Predators and aliens continue their fight for superiority. The film also features Sanaa Lathan, Raoul Bova, Ewen Bremmer, Colin Salmon, and Agathe de la Boulaye.

He was a Young Blood or Blooded now since he mark himself. Meaning he was a very young hunter (kinda like in their early 20s in human years) so even he was well skilled as a young hunter, he was no Elite (Elite they are high rank and very skilled hunters. Had more experience and quite capable of anything.) so sadly the Queen got the best of him. But for such a young hunter he handle himself pretty well against a queen alien. If he would have made it, he would have been a very skilled Elite someday.

Idk why people say this movie is bad, honestly I enjoyed it. It showed off a lot of both the Alien and Predator, and had plenty of action between the 2 which was bad ass. Not to mention a lot of it wasn't CGI which makes it 10x better
Even though there wasn’t much violence and gore in this movie I do agree with you. I never get tired of watching this movie from time to time.
The female lead was not a very good actor. Example, When the alien queen tries to use her secondary teeth to bite her face before going into the ice, she doesn't look scared or self preserving. Not one single amount of adrenaline was going through her character in such of an extreme situation with a bad ass alien queen. It was through out the film and pulled me out of the story. Very much card board acting. 😔
The overall designs of predators and aliens are terrible to me how they made the predator extremely bulky and muscular when their supposed to be unblooded and give them the exact same build and colors but just different armor, they used the alien clones from resurrection instead alien/aliens alien warriors or the big chap and the overall premise didn’t reach its full potential especially with killing off the Celtic and chopper predator early into the fights
@@yeeyeebubba1885 The designs bugged me too, to be honest. The Predators indeed look bulky and somewhat fake. The skin of the Predators look rubbery and less wet unlike the original Predator. I also agree that the Aliens should've looked like the Big Chap from the original Alien/the Warriors from Aliens.

Every time I see that predator I always get amazed by his team work with the human lady because he helped her take down the queen it’s always gonna amaze me
Say what you want, this movie was pretty good for what it was: Popcorn entertainment.
The alien and predator stuff is pretty good, it's just the boring human shit that brings down the film, particularly the god awful dubbing I saw in the extended version or whatever other version.
Compared to its god-awful sequel, it's Shakespeare.

There is just something morbidly fascinating and terrifying about that foul, slimy, alien thing rampaging through an abandoned whaling camp, smashing ribcages.
The amount of rage that Queen must've been feeling because of the destruction of her brood and hive must've been extreme.

James Cameron is on record in saying that he enjoyed some parts of AVP. I have a feeling that's this was one of them.
He created the Alien Queen and he said he was very disappointed he couldn't make her do too much in (Aliens 1986) because of the limited technology of the time.
Also another fun fact; he kind of created the design of the Predator too.
Stan Winston designed the predator in 1986 during a 10 hour flight in Asia sitting with James Cameron at his side. (Cameron was not part of the movie production; they were just going in the same general area.)
Cameron suggested the dreads, mouth and especially the size of the Predator to be bigger than Schwarzenegger +7 feet tall .
