I have both in front of me. The bigger one (106) seems better in music because of its bigger bass and more treble. However, that is also defined by software. Choose a good player. I think that the bigger speaker is also less nicer to listen to. Noisy and rubble.
And I use it only for audiobooks so you can imagine that the smaller one is my best one🙂. The little sturdy strap is perfect. Only the battery life is not as iI would like to have it.
But again, don't get fooled by the 'better' sound. If you really want good sound, buy a good BIG speaker from e.g. Harmon kardon or JBL. Or even better, if you are an audiophile, like I, listen to music at home🙂
But for audiobooks, yeah! The smaller one(119) is the best.

Ewa a106 Pro is almost double the weight and slightly larger, has a better bass response which can be further improved when in its case and placed on a floor (preferably wood and hollow) it has a fuller sound especially at bass volumes. Ewa a119 is probably Ewa's smallest speaker, it doesn't have the body of the a106pro but it has an incredibly bright sound, lower in the bass but defends well at high volumes and distortion is practically absent at high volumes while on the a106 Pro it is more noticeable. They both have a 3w speaker plus passive bass radiator. Maximum volume excellent for both. They are both made of metal and stylish, the a119 has the ability to create stereo sound with two units while on the a106 Pro it is not possible. Ewa a119 has built-in functionality for lower latency for music or while playing games with your devices, smartphones, tablets etc. The battery is larger on a106 and has greater autonomy, both have ipx7 certification for temporary immersion up to 1 meter for 30 minutes. Both have bluetooth 5.0. In the package of ewa a106pro there is a manual charging cable, case with ring carabiner, while in that of a119 only manual In my country in Italy there are at the moment about 3-4 euros of cost difference between one and the other (a106 costs more)

What do you think of the strap on the A119? Is it strong or flimsy? I hope it doesn't break off when it's hanging on a backpack or bag.
Hi, the Lanyard seems to be designed well, at least in my unit it seems to be very durable, I happened to hold a119 on my wrist while walking, so I pulled the lanyard to wear it and it is elastic and well made, I also tied it to a backpack by tying the tail and I had no problems.

Hello, do you know how to totally turn off the power of ewa speaker (a109 mini)? Because the battery draining so fast even when its not in use...
Hi, I don't think it's possible unless directly disconnecting the battery, try to charge the speaker completely, leave it connected for a while even when it's already charged, I solved this on an ewa speaker that gave me the same problem, I think you could also have it replaced by the assistance. You could also try resetting the speaker, there are no indications in the manual but I know that some ewa speakers reset themselves when they are on, by holding down the on-off button for about 8 seconds, others have the reset button integrated in the passive radiator located underneath the speaker and others are reset by touching the contacts with a metal object in the micro sd input.

Ciao, sul serio? Con la mia potevo sentire bene anche all'aperto, certo la resa diminuisce ma riusciva ancora a sentirsi bene, magari dipende dal dispositivo utilizzato, hai provato con un altro telefono per vedere se cambia qualcosa?

A dirla tutta, la qualità del suono e molto buona ma molto bassa, dubitoche sia il mio cel e spotify.
@@vittoriodelgaudio7503 con la a106 Pro io ho avuto dei problemi con la sincronizzazione volume, con alcuni dispositivi faceva dei salti di Volume eccessivi arrivando a metà volume che era già al max e poi la restante metà di volume andava a vuoto sentendosi anche più basso in certi casi; su un dispositivo ho risolto disattivando la sincronizzazione supporti (samsung) oppure attivando la funzione ''disattiva volume assoluto" dalla opzioni sviluppatore e poi riavviando il dispositivo; solitamente se usi lettore integrato del telefono o di terze parti suonano più forti gli speaker, di solito da spotify è un po' più basso il volume, se usi samsung music puoi integrarlo direttamente.
